Bihar NEET PG Counselling 2026 will be conducted by the Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB) through the Post Graduate Medical Admission Counselling (PGMAC-2026). The counselling will offer admission to MD, MS, PG Diploma and DNB courses in government and private medical colleges in Bihar based on the NEET PG 2026 merit list. BCECEB has opened the PGMAC-2026 section on its website, while the detailed 2026 counselling schedule is yet to be released.

Candidates who qualify NEET PG 2026 and meet the eligibility conditions prescribed by BCECEB can participate in Bihar NEET PG Counselling 2026. The counselling process includes online registration, application submission, fee payment, choice filling, choice locking, seat allotment and physical reporting for admission.

Bihar NEET PG Counselling 2026 Eligibility

Candidates must fulfil the NEET PG and state counselling requirements to participate in PGMAC-2026. The basic eligibility includes:

• Qualifying NEET PG 2026.
• Possessing a recognised MBBS degree.
• Completing the required one-year internship within the prescribed date.
• Holding valid registration with NMC or the concerned State Medical Council.
• Meeting the category, domicile and other conditions specified in the PGMAC-2026 prospectus.

Bihar NEET PG Counselling 2026 Registration Process

Candidates can complete the counselling process through the official BCECEB portal once registration opens.

In the previous PGMAC process, candidates registered using their NEET PG details, completed personal, contact and educational information, uploaded documents, paid the counselling fee and security deposit, and then filled and locked their college and course preferences.

Bihar NEET PG Counselling 2026 Fees

The 2026 counselling fee has not been announced yet. In PGMAC-2025, BCECEB charged a INR 2,200 non-refundable counselling/registration fee for all categories. The security deposit was INR 25,000 for UR/EWS candidates opting for government colleges and INR 12,500 for SC/ST/EBC/BC candidates; for private colleges, the security deposit was INR 2 lakh.

Note: INR 2,200 was the non-refundable counselling/registration fee in PGMAC 2025 for all categories. The 2026 fee is yet to be officially notified.

Documents Required for Bihar NEET PG Counselling 2026

Candidates should keep the following documents ready for registration and admission:

BCECEB's previous PGMAC notice specifically required original certificates including the residential certificate, caste/EWS certificates, internship certificate, MBBS passing certificate and marksheets, medical registration certificate, NEET PG admit card, Aadhaar card and PGMAC rank card at document verification.

Bihar NEET PG Merit List & Seat Allotment

BCECEB will prepare the PGMAC merit/rank list using the NEET PG 2026 merit data and applicable state counselling rules. Seat allotment is conducted on a merit-cum-choice basis, considering the candidate's NEET PG rank, category, choices and available seats.

Candidates allotted a seat must download the provisional allotment order, complete document verification and report to the allotted institution within the prescribed schedule. Candidates seeking upgradation may participate in subsequent rounds according to the applicable counselling rules.
