PU CET UG 2025 Application Process: Registration, Important Dates & More

PU CET UG 2025 Application Process began on June 6, 2025, with the online admission form made available on the official portal cetug.puchd.ac.in. It is a state-level entrance test conducted annually by Panjab University for admission to its undergraduate science programs such as B.Sc. (Hons.) and B. Pharma. Many students apply each year, making it a competitive yet decent option for those seeking quality education in fields like biotechnology, physics, chemistry, and more. The entire application process, from candidate registration to counselling, is conducted in both online and offline modes.

Candidates had until June 24 to complete and submit the form online. For reserved categories (excluding General, SC, and ST), the hard copies of the PU CET UG 2025 form and documents were to be submitted by June 27, 2025, either by post or in person, depending on the category. The merit list and counselling steps happened throughout July, and classes started on July 25, 2025. For any remaining seats, a final round of physical counselling will be held from August 6 to 8, 2025.

How to Fill PU CET UG 2025 Application Form

Filling out the PU CET UG 2025 Application form was clear and straightforward. Candidates followed the simple steps given below:

Step 1: Registration

• To begin, candidates need to visit the official PU CET website (link will be updated soon). First, they have to register by creating a login ID and password through the "Online Registration" option.
• Basic details like name, mobile number, and email ID are required.
• Once registered, it's important to note down the login credentials. After that, candidates can log in and move to the next step.

Step 2: Fill out the Application Form

After registering successfully, candidates need to log in and then click on “Online Application Form” and fill in the requested details like:

• Full name
• Personal Contact details like address, email ID, phone number
• A valid ID proof
• Father’s name

List of Documents to be uploaded:

• Class 10 and 12 mark sheets
• Recent passport-size photograph
• Scanned signature

Also, once all the details and documents are submitted, the candidates can review and submit the application.

Step 3: Pay the Application Fee

After filling in the PU CET UG 2025 form, candidates are required to pay the application fee to complete the process.

Fee Details:

• For General category candidates: INR 2,395
• For SC, ST, PwD candidates: INR 1,198
• If a candidate wishes to take both Biology and Mathematics, they make a payment of an extra INR 300 for the additional subject.

• When the correction window opens, visit the PU CET UG 2026 website. The link for this will be updated as soon as it’s live.
• Look for the “Sign In” or “Application Correction” option on the homepage.
• Enter the login credentials that were created during registration.
• Once the candidate logs in, their application form will appear. Candidates should be allowed to edit certain fields that the university permits for correction. Go through each section carefully and make the required changes.
• After making the changes, save the updated form. It’s a good idea to download and print a copy of the corrected form for future use.

Candidates should remember that only specific details can be edited, and any corrections must be completed within the official time window. No changes will be allowed after that.
