RRB JE Application Fee 2026

Candidates applying for the RRB JE 2026 under CEN 04/2026 are required to pay the required to pay the required examination fee for their category. The fee can be paid online through internet banking, debit cards, credit cards, or UPI payment. The RRB JE 2026 online application system captures a live photograph while candidates are filling out the application form. Candidates should follow these requirements:

• The photograph can be captured using a webcam or the front camera of a mobile phone.
• Candidates should wear non-white clothing, preferably dark-coloured clothes, to maintain contrast with the background.
• The camera should be positioned at eye level, and candidates should look straight ahead at the camera.
• The entire face should be clearly visible and centred within the frame.
• Candidates must not wear a cap, mask, or spectacles while capturing the photograph.
• Candidates must review the photograph and retake it if required before submitting the application.
• Candidates are not allowed to take a photograph of a printed or digital pre-existing photograph for uploading. Such applications are liable to be rejected.
• The candidate's appearance during the recruitment process should match the photograph submitted with the application.

RRB JE Application Modification 2026

Candidates who had submitted the RRB JE 2026 application were given an opportunity to update the permitted fields during the application modification window held from September 16 to 25, 2026. The correction facility could be used after payment of the prescribed application modification fee, while information entered under Create an Account and the selected RRB remained non-editable.

• Candidates could modify permitted details by paying a non-refundable fee of Rs. 250 for each modification occasion.
• The modification fee was applicable to all candidates, irrespective of their category.
• Details entered in the Create an Account form, including the registered mobile number and email ID, could not be changed.
• Candidates could not modify the chosen RRB under any circumstances.
• Candidates could make modifications any number of times during the correction window, provided they pay the Rs. 250 modification fee for each occasion.
• If a candidate changed their category from SC or ST to UR, OBC or EWS, they had to pay an additional Rs. 250 as the difference in examination fee, along with the modification fee.
• Similarly, candidates changing from Ex-Servicemen, Female, Transgender or PwBD to categories such as UR, OBC (NCL), EWS, Non-Ex-Servicemen or Non-PwBD, Male had to pay the applicable Rs. 250 difference in examination fee in addition to the modification fee.
• The modification facility was closed on September 25, 2026, and no further requests for changes were accepted after the deadline. Candidates were advised to review their details carefully before the correction window ended.
