The RRB JE CEN 04/2026 recruitment process has officially commenced with the online application window opening on August 14, 2026. The vacancies are distributed category-wise among 1,714 UR, 920 OBC, 397 EWS, 632 SC, and 366 ST posts. Among all RRB zones, Kolkata has the highest number of vacancies with 457 posts, followed by Mumbai with 411 posts and Chennai with 377 posts. RRB JE 2026: Application Process

For RRB JE CEN 04/2026, the online application window opens on August 14, 2026, and eligible candidates can submit their applications until September 13, 2026 (11:59 PM). The application fee must be paid by September 15, 2026, while candidates can make permitted corrections to their applications from September 16 to 25, 2026, by paying the applicable modification fee. Eligible scribe candidates must provide their scribe details through the application portal between September 26 and 30, 2026.
