SRMJEEE 2026 Cutoff: Check Previous Year Cutoffs, Factors Determining, Marks vs Rank

• Updated on 20 Sept, 2025 by Ankita Banerjee

SRMJEEE 2026 Cutoff refers to the minimum marks or rank that a candidate must achieve to be considered for admission or to participate in the seat allotment and counselling process at SRM Institute of Science and Technology (SRMIST). While SRMIST typically does not officially publish the cut-off ranks, if released, the details will be made available on their official website, srmist.edu.in. Only those candidates who score above the expected cutoff or achieve a rank within the required range will be eligible to take part in the counselling for SRMJEEE 2026.

The cut-off is determined by SRMIST based on several key factors, including the difficulty level of the exam, the total number of test-takers, the number of seats available, and overall competition for each programme. For admission to popular courses like B.Tech in Computer Science Engineering (CSE) at the SRMIST Chennai campus, candidates typically need to secure a rank within 10,000 to 20,000. While these numbers may vary each year, they give a general idea of the level of competition. To stay informed about the latest updates and expected cut-offs, candidates should keep an eye on the official SRMJEEE website.
