SRMJEEE 2027, the SRM Joint Engineering Entrance Examination for B.Tech admission official notification will be released in October 2026.

SRMJEEE Registration 2027 

SRMJEEE registration 2027 will begin in the first week of November 2026 on applications.srmist.edu.in, and registration for all three phases opens together. SRMJEEE registration's last date 2027 will be in mid April 2027 for Phase 1, SRMJEEE Phase 2 will begin in the first week of June 2027 and for Phase 3 it will be the last week of June 2027. Each phase has its own closing date and its own fee. The NRI/PIO/OCI candidates must apply through the international portal at intlapplications.srmist.edu.in. SRMJEEE Registration Process 2027  

Candidates can complete the SRMJEEE registration 2027 by following the steps below:

2. Candidates must register using their name, mobile number, and email ID, then verify the email and log in to the application portal.

SRMJEEE Slot Booking 2027

SRMJEEE slot booking 2027 will open after registration for each phase, and candidatesbook their SRMJEEE slot through the Online Test Booking System (OTBS) on srmist.edu.in. SRM slot booking 2027 runs on a first come, first served basis, so popular dates and shifts fill quickly. SRMJEEE admit card will be generated as soon as the slot is confirmed. SRM Mock Test 2027

The SRM mock test 2027 is released by SRMIST on srmist.edu.in two to three days before each phase exam, and candidates open it with their application login after slot booking. It copies the remote proctored exam environment, so it also works as a check for your webcam, microphone and internet connection. Since the paper carries no negative marking, candidates should aim to attempt all 125 questions, making speed, accuracy, and conceptual clarity equally important. SRMJEEE Cutoff 2027

The SRMJEEE 2027 cutoffs refer to the minimum ranks required for admission to a specific program or campus. SRMIST does not officially publish the SRMJEEE cutoff. However, if it’s announced this year, it will be available on the official SRMIST website at srmist.edu.in.

SRMJEEE Counselling 2027

The SRMJEEE 2027 Counselling process is conducted entirely online by the SRM Institute of Science and Technology (SRMIST) through the Online Admission Portal (OAP) at admissions.srmist.edu.in. Counselling is held phase-wise, separately following the conclusion and result declaration of each exam phase, and is expected to begin in July 2026 for Phase 1 qualifiers. Only candidates who secure a valid All India Rank (AIR) in SRMJEEE 2026 are eligible to participate in SRMJEEE 2026 Counselling. It is important to note that qualifying the exam or participating in counselling does not guarantee admission; final seat allotment depends on the candidate's AIR, campus-wise and branch-wise cutoff ranks, seat availability, and successful document verification.

SRMIST also considers JEE Main scores for B.Tech admissions. Candidates who did not appear for SRMJEEE but hold valid JEE Main 2026 scores may be eligible to participate in counselling directly.

SRMJEEE Counselling Fee 2027

Upon acceptance of a seat allotment, candidates must pay a total of INR 1,10,000, structured as follows:

• INR 10,000 - One-time non-refundable, non-transferable Registration Fee
• INR 1,00,000 - Seat Acceptance Fee (adjusted as part of the total tuition fee)

Important: This payment is strictly non-refundable and non-transferable. Failure to pay within the stipulated deadline will result in automatic cancellation of the seat allotment. Subsequent rounds of counselling are conducted to fill seats vacated due to non-payment. Payment can be made via E-Pay (online) or Demand Draft drawn in favour of SRM Institute, payable at the Chennai campus.

Step-by-Step SRMJEEE Counselling Process 2027

1. Register for Counselling: Visit admissions.srmist.edu.in and log in to the Applicant Dashboard using your Application Number, Date of Birth, Programme Applied For, and SRMJEEE Rank.
2. Download Counselling Call Letter and Rank Card: Access and download both documents from the Online Admission Portal (OAP).
3. Fill in Choice Preferences: Enter your preferred SRM campuses and B.Tech programmes in order of preference. Fill choices carefully — seat allotment is based entirely on the preferences entered, your AIR, and seat availability.

Is SRMJEEE Easier Than JEE Main?

Yes, SRMJEEE is easier than JEE Main for most candidates. SRMJEEE has no negative marking, its questions are direct and based on the Class 11 and 12 syllabus, and its difficulty is rated easy to moderate, while JEE Main penalises wrong answers and tests application level problem solving.
