UGC NET 2025 Application Process: The UGC NET 2025 June session exam was conducted from 25th to 29th June 2025. The last date to submit the application form was 12th May 2025, after which the window was officially closed. Earlier, the deadline was 7th May 2025, but NTA extended it for the candidates’ convenience. The last date to pay the UGC NET 2025 exam fee was 13th May 2025. Candidates were allowed to make corrections in their submitted forms until 15th May 2025 (11:59 PM).

UGC NET 2025 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates who wish to appear for the UGC NET 2025 exam must meet the updated eligibility criteria. From 2025 onwards, candidates who hold a four-year bachelor’s degree in any stream are also eligible to apply. Those who have completed or are in the final year of their Master’s degree can also appear for the UGC NET 2025 exam. For the Junior Research Fellowship (JRF), candidates must be 30 years or younger. 8. Upload scanned photo and signature as per the size and format specifications. The photocopy should be within 10 kb to 200 kb size and signature should be within 4 kb to 30 kb size.

10. After successful fee payment, download and print at least four copies of the confirmation page for future use.
