UGC NET Result Preparation Criteria & Minimum Qualifying Marks

The NTA prepares the UGC NET 2025 result by following the step-by-step procedure mentioned below:

 

Step 1: The number of candidates to be qualified for the exam should be equal to six per cent of the candidates appearing in both the papers of the UGC NET exam

 

Step 2: Total slots are allocated to different categories as per the reservation policy of the Government of India

 

Step 3: To be considered for ‘JRF and eligibility for Assistant Professor’ or ‘eligibility for Assistant Professor only’, candidates must appear for both paper and -II and score the minimum qualifying marks as mentioned below.
