The MBBS is an undergraduate medical course of 5.5 years with the first four and a half years of academics and the final 12 months of a mandatory internship period. The curriculum follows a period-based system covering the basics of Anatomy, physiology, and biochemistry, followed by clinical and para-clinical subjects, including Pathology, pharmacology, surgery, medicine, pediatrics, and community medicine.

 

For MBBS admission in Madhya Pradesh, the candidates have to appear for the NEET-UG examination, which is a single entrance examination accepted at the medical college level in Madhya Pradesh. The counseling is done by the Directorate of Medical Education (DME). The candidates need to have completed their 10+2 in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English and the minimum marks are 50 percent (40 percent in reserved categories). MBBS Admission in MP Eligibility Criteria

The candidates need to fulfill the following eligibility criteria to complete the MBBS admission in MP. The complete eligibility criteria for the MBBS are given below:

  • The candidate is expected to pass 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English as core subjects.
  • The candidates need to score a minimum of 50% in their 12th standard.
  • However, to get admission in a reputed and government medical college, the candidates need 90% or above marks.
  • In addition to this, the candidates need to appear and qualify for the NEET UG entrance examination.

MBBS Admission in MP: Admission Process

The candidates need to follow a simple admission procedure for the MBBS course in Madhya Pradesh. The complete MBBS admission in Madhya Pradesh at AIIMS Bhopal is given below:

 

Step 1: Make sure that you qualify for the eligibility requirements for the MBBS course.
