M.Tech Engineering Physics is a two-year postgraduate course that combines both Science and Engineering to meet the demands of manpower with technical knowledge in the field. The course includes subjects from computer science and applied Sciences such as Photovoltaics, Embedded systems, Computational Physics, Nanoscience and Technology, Ion Beam Technology, and Photonics.

 

The eligibility criteria for M.Tech Engineering Physics are clearing a bachelor’s degree (Electronics/ Computer Science/ Electrical/ Engineering Physics/ IT/ IC) or post graduation (M.Sc) in Physics/ Applied physics/ Electronics/ Mathematics equivalent with a minimum of 55% aggregate in the qualifying degree. The admission is granted on the basis of merit obtained in the qualifying degree or Entrance exams such as GATE, AP PGECET, etc.

MTech Engineering Physics Admission Process

The admission process for M.Tech Engineering is the same all over India. The admission process for M.Tech Engineering Physics at Guru Gobind Indraprastha University:

 

Step 1: Register for GATE (General Aptitude Test for Engineering) and appear for GATE.

 

Step 2: Register on the official GGSIPU website by filling in accurate details.

 

Step 3: Log in with the Credentials received after registration and fill the online application form with accurate personal details such as Name, Address, GATE score, etc.

 

Step 4: Pay the online application fee via the online gateway to proceed further and submit the application form.

 

Step 5: Admission is based on the NLT( National Level Test), i.e, GATE. The University publishes the enlisted candidates on the basis of merit obtained in NLT.

 

Step 6: Enroll for Centralized Online Counseling based on GATE score and fill in the preference for M.Tech in Engineering Physics.

 

Step 7: Three counseling rounds are conducted, in which, if selected, pay the part academic seat to confirm the admission.
