The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the CSIR NET Certificate 2024 for the June session. This certificate is for candidates who passed the CSIR NET 2024 exam. List of Documents Required to Download CSIR NET Certificate 2024

Candidates whose names are in Part I of the CSIR NET 2024 result must send self-attested photocopies of some documents to download their CSIR UGC NET E-Certificate. However, candidates whose names are in Part II and Part III of the result need to contact the University Grants Commission (UGC) or National Testing Agency (NTA) to get their e-certificates.

Candidates who have qualified for CSIR JRF/ LS or JRF only (Part I) must send self-attested copies of the required documents via email to certificate@csirhrdg.res.in.

  • Marks Statement (CSIR NET scorecard) with rank and result that is available at csirnet.nta.nic.in
  • Class 10 certificate (issued by the respective board) as proof of date of birth
  • Degree/provisional degree of qualifying exam/ MSc/ equivalent degree
  • Final mark sheet with the required percentage of marks
  • CGPA/ SGPA/ OGPA /CPI etc conversion formula of their respective University/Institute or certificate from the concerned University/Institute clearly stating the percentage of marks in the qualifying degree
  • Bifurcation of marks/period in case of the dual degree
  • SC/ ST Certificate, if applicable
  • Latest OBC Caste Certificate (Non-creamy layer) as per format given on NCBC website (www.ncbc.nic.in)
  • PwD candidates should submit certificates as per the Government of India rules
  • EWS category certificate (Income and Asset Certificate) issued by the appropriate competent authority

CSIR NET Certificate 2024: Validity

The CSIR UGC NET Certificate has different time limits for two things: JRF NET and Lectureship/Assistant Professor. Here’s how it works:

  • JRF NET Award Letter: If you get the JRF NET award, it is valid for only 2 years. After that, it cannot be extended.
  • Lectureship/Assistant Professor: If you qualify for Lectureship or Assistant Professor, the certificate is valid forever. It doesn’t expire.

CSIR NET 2024 Result 

The CSIR NET 2024 results and rank list were announced on 14th October 2024. The National Testing Agency (NTA) has shared the results, including the cut-off marks for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and Lectureship. Students who took the CSIR NET June 2024 exam can check the cut-off marks and the list of qualified candidates on the website csirhrdg.res.in. The results were declared on 13th September 2024 for 1,63,529 candidates.

The NTA officially announced the CSIR NET 2024 results on its website on 12th September 2024 at around 9 PM. The CSIR NET June exam was conducted on 25th, 26th, and 27th July 2024. Along with the results, the NTA also released the CSIR NET Rank List and Cut-off 2024. This year, 2,25,335 students registered for the exam, and 1,63,529 students appeared for it.

To check the CSIR NET 2024 results, students need to visit the official website and log in using their details. Those who qualify will receive the CSIR NET eligibility certificate and JRF Award Letters from the NTA. Qualified students can then apply for Assistant Professor jobs in Indian colleges and universities.

Earlier, the NTA had released the provisional answer key on 9th August 2024. Students could raise objections to the answer key until 11th August 2024 by paying a fee of Rs. 200 per question. The CSIR NET exam is conducted to check if students are eligible for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF), Assistant Professor roles, and Ph.D. admissions in Indian universities and colleges.
