CUET CSAS 2025 Counselling is ongoing. University of Delhi Undergraduate Admissions 2025 have started from 17th June, 2025. Candidates can register at ugadmission.uod.ac.in till July 2025. This centralized counseling portal is the only gateway to all undergraduate courses across 69 colleges affiliated with DU. This year, over 71,000 seats will be offered by colleges like St. Stephen's, Acharya Narendra Dev College, Bhim Rao Ambedkar, Hindu College, etc. Applicants should ensure that the subjects they studied in Class XII align with those chosen in the CUET 2025 Exam to avoid rejection by their preferred colleges. Admissions will be based on CUET 2025 Scores and program-specific eligibility criteria.

What is CSAS UG 2025?

CSAS stands for Common Seat Allocation System, and it is a unique counseling process conducted for admission to undergraduate programs under the University of Delhi (DU). It involves three phases: registration, Program selection, and Seat allocation. By registering at the CSAS Portal of DU, candidates can enrol in various streams of study, including Mathematical Sciences, Sciences and Social Sciences, Arts, Applied Social Sciences and Humanities, Interdisciplinary and Applied Sciences, Education, Music, and Commerce and Business Studies. Admission to all of the above-mentioned programs is based on CUET UG 2025 Scores. Candidates whose scores meet the DU merit list criteria become eligible for admission to their desired courses and colleges.

 

Phase 1 of CSAS UG 2025 has started and will remain open until the release of CUET Result 2025. Candidates can register at ugadmission.uod.ac.in by using their personal and academic details. Phase 2 of CSAS UG 2025 is expected to start after the announcement of CUET Scores.

CUET CSAS UG 2025: Phases For DU Admission

CUET CSAS UG 2025 consists of three phases. Phase 1 involves registering candidates. In Phase 2, candidates must fill in their preferences for colleges and courses. In Phase 3, the seat allocation process is conducted by DU based on the CUET Merit list. More details about the CSAS phases are as follows:

CUET CSAS UG 2025: Registration Process

To register through the CSAS portal, candidates must go to ugadmission.uod.ac.in and log in using their CUET application number and password. Followed by, applicants are required to fill in their personal and academic details and pay fees to complete their registration for DU.

  • Candidates must appear for the 12th Exam with a combination of Physics + Chemistry + Mathematics/ Applied Mathematics.

B.Com. (Hons.) In Commerce & Management

  • Any one language from Assamese, Bengali, English, Gujarati, Hindi, Malayalam, Kannada, Marathi, Punjabi, Sanskrit, or Tamil + Mathematics + Any two subjects from Accountancy, Agriculture, Chemistry, Business Studies, Fine Arts, Environmental Studies, History, Home Science, Geography / Geology, Political Science, Psychology, etc.

Age limit

The NTA has prescribed no specific upper age limit, but it may vary according to the rules set by colleges under the University of Delhi (DU).

Reservation policies

DU aligns with the reservation policies by the Government of India and reserves seats for SC/ ST/ OBC / EWS/ PwD candidates.

 

How to Register For The DU CSAS Portal 2025?

During registration, candidates must be cautious when filling in their names and uploading signatures and photographs. These fields will not be editable further. Below are some simple steps to follow when registering for CUET CSAS UG 2025.

  1. Open ugadmission.uod.ac.in.
  2. Provide details such as application number, password, or date of birth.
  3. An OTP will be sent to the candidates' registered mobile number.
  4. Enter the OTP and log in to the dashboard of the CSAS portal.
  5. The personal section page appears, where candidates must enter their parents' names, category, gender, email ID, Mobile number, and bank account details.
  6. Next, candidates must fill out the academic section by entering their marks in both XI and XII.
  7. Following this, the sports and ECA sections are optional. However, those who wish to apply for the sports and ECA quota must upload three participation sports certificates with a duration between May 1, 2022, and April 30, 2025.
  8. Next, the upload section appears where candidates need to upload the category certificate (if any).
  9. Candidates need to preview the CSAS application form and proceed with the final submission of the form.
  10. To make a successful registration, candidates must pay the application fee (INR 250 for UR and INR 100 for SC/ST) through credit card, debit card, UPI, or net banking.

 

DU CSAS 2025 Application Fees

A one-time, non-refundable application fee applies to the CSAS UG 2025 registration process. Below are the application fees listed for various categories:

DU CSAS 2025 Correction Window

THE DU CSAS 2025 Correction Window will open in July 2025. During this period, registered candidates can edit their application forms if any mistakes are found in the provided information. The steps for correcting the information in the CSAS Application Form 2025 are as follows:

  • Candidates must visit at ugadmission.uod.ac.in and log in using their application number and password.
  • Then, they have to click on the "Edit" option under the Phase 1 tab to make changes in the required fields of the application form.
  • Candidates must verify the details and save them.

 

CUET CSAS UG 2025: Filling Choices

During Phase 2 of CUET CSAS 2025, candidates need to fill out their preferences for colleges and courses. Phase 2 of CUET CSAS 2025 will begin after the CUET Result declaration in July 2025. To fill in the preferences of Program and College combinations, candidates must do the following:

  1. Subject Mapping: Candidates need to map the subjects studied in class XII with the CUET 2025 Exam. Candidates must appear in the CUET 2025 Exam in those subjects in which they have passed class XII.
  2. Choosing preferences: Candidates need to select their desired programs among 79 UG programs and 186 program combinations across 69 colleges under DU. Before selecting programs, they must check the eligibility criteria for each program, as well as the combination requirements.
  3. Locking preferences: Candidates are allowed to reorder the preferences by editing the Program + College combination preference list, but it must be done before the deadline for preference filling.
  4. Announcement of simulated ranks: DU declares a tentative rank based on scores and preferences submitted by the candidates at the end of the choice filling process. By checking the tentative ranks, candidates can reorder their preferences.

 

CUET CSAS UG 2025: Seat Allocation

DU considers CUET scores and program-specific eligibility before allocating seats to candidates. The seat allocation depends on several factors, including program-specific merit, Category, availability of seats, and allocation rules. The process of seat allocation and admission is as follows:

  • Based on CUET scores and program-specific eligibility, candidates are allotted seats.
  • Candidates must accept the allocated seat before the last date, as it consists of a specific time.
  • If a candidate is offered multiple seats, they must accept only one of the allocated seats and take admission for that seat.
  • Once the candidates accept the seats, the concerned college verifies the documents and eligibility of those candidates.
  • If the college approves the seat acceptance, then the candidates need to pay the "admission fee".
  • In case of rejection by colleges due to falsified documents or non-fulfillment of eligibility criteria, colleges raise queries. Candidates must respond online through the dashboard within the given period.
  • Once the query is solved, colleges approve a seat for candidates.

CUET CSAS UG 2025: Reservation Policies

DU aligns with the reservation policies of the Indian Government to prepare the CUET Seat Matrix 2025. Based on the policies, 22.5% of the total number of seats is reserved for SC and ST Candidates. Accordingly, for OBC-NCL candidates, 27% of the total number of seats is reserved. To apply for reservation facilities, candidates must possess a Caste/ Tribe/ OBC certificate in their name at the time of Registration and Admission.
