The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection will announce the IBPS PO Mains Cutoff 2026 in November 2026, along with the IBPS PO Mains scorecard 2026. The cutoff will be released category-wise and section-wise for candidates who appeared in the IBPS PO Phase 2 Exam 2026 conducted on October 4, 2026. IBPS releases stage-wise cutoffs for Prelims, Mains, and Final Selection. The cutoff of each stage indicates the minimum marks candidates need to secure to qualify for the respective stage. Candidates who clear the IBPS PO Phase 2 cutoff 2026 will be shortlisted for the Interview. For the final selection, the merit list will be prepared based on the Mains and Interview marks in an 80:20 ratio.
Earlier, IBPS had released the IBPS PO Prelims Cutoff 2026 on September 29, 2026, along with the IBPS PO Phase 1 Scorecard 2026. The IBPS PO Prelims exam 2026 was conducted on August 22 and 23, 2026. Subsequently, the IBPS PO Phase 1 result 2026 was declared on September 23, 2026. The minimum Prelims cutoff was 49.68 marks for General, OBC-NCL, and EWS candidates, 46.93 marks for SC candidates, and 40.72 marks for ST candidates. IBPS PO Prelims marks 2026 are used only for shortlisting candidates for the IBPS PO Phase 2 Stage 2026 and are not considered for the final merit list.

IBPS has announced the IBPS PO Prelims Cutoff 2026 on September 29, 2026, for the Phase 1 exam conducted on August 22 and 23, 2026. As per the released cutoff, the minimum qualifying marks stood at 49.68 for General, OBC-NCL and EWS, while candidates belonging to SC and ST categories needed to secure 46.93 and 40.72 marks, respectively. For PwBD categories, the cutoff was 21.43 for HI, 31.47 for OC, 20.71 for VI and 21.28 for ID.
IBPS PO Prelims Sectional Cutoff 2026
The IBPS PO Prelims 2026 sectional qualifying marks were set separately for each subject and candidate category. In the General and EWS category, the cutoff was 10.00 marks for English Language, 6.50 marks for Quantitative Aptitude, and 12.50 marks for Reasoning Ability. For SC, ST, OBC-NCL and PwBD candidates, the corresponding minimum marks were 7.00, 4.00 and 7.75, respectively.
