INI CET Eligibility Criteria 2027

As per the INI CET eligibility criteria 2027, candidates must complete MBBS from a recognised university. It is mandatory for all candidates to fulfill the required eligibility criteria in order to be eligible for admission. The INI CET eligibility criteria 2027 vary for Indian nationals and foreign candidates. Candidates should also make sure to check the institute-wise admission eligibility, as it might vary from college to college.

 

INI CET Eligibility Criteria 2027 for Indian Nationals

Candidates who are citizens of India must fulfill the following eligibility requirements for INI CET 2027:

• Candidates must have an MBBS degree for MD, MS, DM (6 years), MCh (6 years), MD (Hospital Administration) courses and a BDS degree for MDS courses.
• The degree must be awarded by the National Medical Commission/ Medical Council of India and the Dental Council of India.
• Candidates must have completed 12 months compulsory rotating internship/ practical training before 31st January 2027 for all INIs. Candidates who complete their internship after 31st January will not be eligible for the exam.
• Candidates must have obtained a minimum aggregate of 55% for OBC/ EWS category and 50% for SC/ ST category in the qualifying exam.
• For sponsored candidates, it is mandatory to upload a valid sponsor certificate before the last date of admission

 

INI CET Eligibility Criteria 2027 for Foreign Students

Candidates who are not citizens of India must fulfill the following eligibility requirements for INI CET 2027:

• Candidates must have an MBBS degree for MD, MS, DM (6 years), MCh (6 years), MD (Hospital Administration) courses and a BDS degree for MDS courses.
• Candidates must have completed 12 months compulsory rotating internship/ practical training before 31st January 2027 for all INIs.
• Candidates must have obtained a minimum aggregate of 55% in the qualifying exam.
• Candidates must obtain a certificate of the grading system from their qualifying institute to determine the value of grades in percentage.
• Candidates also need to submit a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India.

 

INI CET Registration 2027

INI CET application form 2027 has been released on September 16, 2026. Candidates will be able to apply for the exam in online mode until October 13, 2026. The application form has been released on the official website at aiimsexams.ac.in. After the INI CET 2027 registration, the application form correction window will be opened from October 17 to 19, 2026. Through this, candidates will be able to rectify any errors in the form. After this, the final INI CET registration status will be released on October 28, 2026. Candidates can follow the steps mentioned below to apply for INI CET 2027:

• Go to the official website and click on “Login to Apply”:

• Click on " Create a new account” for new registration.

• Enter mobile number and email, and click on “Generate OTP”

• Enter the OTP received on the mobile number and the OTP to finish INI CET registration. Once submitted, candidates will receive their registration ID and password on their respective email and mobile number.
• Log in again using the registered ID and password.
• Fill out the INI CET 2027 application form using personal details, academic details, and other details.
• Upload the recent passport-size photograph, signature, and required certificates.
• Pay the application fee using Debit Card, Credit Card, or Net Banking. UPI and offline payment modes are not accepted.
• Click on the submit button to complete the form.

 

INI CET Application Fee 2027

Along with the INI CET registration 2027, candidates also need to pay an application fee. The application fee is INR 4,000 for General / OBC (NCL) / Foreign National / OCI / Sponsored Applicants and INR 3,200 for SC / ST / EWS Applicants. PwBD candidates are exempted from paying the application fee.

• The application fee can be paid online through Debit Card, Credit Card, or Net Banking.
• Any applicable transaction or processing charges will have to be paid by the applicant to the respective bank or payment service provider.
• The application fee, once paid, is non-refundable under normal circumstances.
• If the application fee is accidentally paid more than once for the same application, the additional payment will be refunded after verification and completion of the examination process.
• Applications submitted without the prescribed fee will be summarily rejected.
• No correspondence will be entertained regarding applications for which the required fee has not been paid.

 

INI CET Admit Card 2027

INI CET January 2027 session admit card will be released on October 26, 2026. Candidates who have appeared for the exam can visit the official website to download the admit card. Note that INI CET admit card 2027 will be released in online mode only.

• AIIMS, New Delhi does not send the INI CET 2027 admit card through email or post. Candidates will have to download it online only.
• Only those candidates who have completed all the stages of registration will be issued an admit card.
• Applicants must download the Admit Card and carefully check all the information mentioned on it. If any discrepancy or error is observed, the applicant must bring it to the notice of the Examination Section, AIIMS, New Delhi through the Help/Query section of the candidate dashboard, “MyPage”.
• Any discrepancy or error reported by the applicant will be matched against the information provided by the applicant during the application process.

 

How to Download INI CET Admit Card 2027?

Candidates can follow the steps mentioned below to download INI CET admit card 2027:

• Go to the official AIIMS Examination website at aiimsexams.ac.in.
• Login using the INI CET registration ID and password to access the “MyPage” dashboard.
• Click on the link to download the INI CET January 2027 Admit Card.
• Check all the details mentioned on the admit card carefully.
• Download and save the admit card.
• Take a printout of the admit card and carry it to the examination centre as instructed.

 

INI CET Syllabus 2027

INI CET Syllabus 2027 is based on the MBBS or BDS curriculum as prescribed by the National Medical Commission or Dental Council of India. The syllabus for INI CET 2027 includes 3 subjects: Pre Clinical, Para Clinical, and Clinical subjects.

INI CET Exam Pattern 2027

The INI CET 2027 exam will be conducted in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode. The question paper will contain 200 objective-type questions to be attempted in 3 hours. As per the INI CET Exam Pattern 2027, the questions will include Single Correct Choice and Multiple Correct Choice types.

 

INI CET Question Paper Structure 2027

The INI CET question paper will be divided into 4 parts, with 50 questions in each part. Candidates will get 45 minutes to complete each part.

• The four parts will be activated one after another.
• Candidates can view and answer questions only in the currently active part.
• Once the 45-minute time limit for a part ends, that part will be automatically submitted.
• The next part will then become available automatically.
• Candidates cannot return to a previous part or access questions from a future part.
• The entire examination will be automatically submitted after 180 minutes.
• Candidates must complete, review, or attempt all possible questions within the 45-minute duration of the respective part.

 

INI CET Result 2027

The INI CET Result 2027 will be released on November 7, 2026, by AIIMS New Delhi. The result will be published on the official AIIMS Examination website in the form of a result notification/ merit list. Candidates can check their overall rank, percentile score, and qualifying status using their login details or the details mentioned in the result notification.

 

The INI CET 2027 result will be used to determine eligibility for the subsequent seat allocation process. Candidates who meet the applicable qualifying percentile and other eligibility requirements can participate in the online seat allocation process. The candidature remains provisional and is subject to verification of eligibility and documents.

INI CET Tie-Breaking Criteria 2027

If two or more candidates obtain the same marks in the INI CET exam, the tie will be resolved using the following criteria in sequence:

• Fewer negative marks will be given preference.
• A higher percentage in the qualifying examination degree will be considered.
• The older candidate by age will be given preference.
• If the tie still remains, the candidates will be considered in alphabetical order of their names.

 

INI CET Cutoff 2027

The INI CET cutoff 2027 refers to the minimum qualifying percentile required to become eligible for admission and subsequent seat allocation. For the January 2027 session, the minimum qualifying percentile specified by AIIMS is the 50th percentile for UR, OCI, EWS, Sponsored, and Foreign National candidates, and the 45th percentile for OBC, SC, ST, PwBD and Bhutanese Nationals for PGIMER Chandigarh. INI CET Counselling 2027

The INI CET counselling 2027 will be conducted through an online seat allocation process for eligible candidates. AIIMS New Delhi is responsible for conducting the INI CET examination, declaration of results and seat allocation, while admission to individual participating INIs is governed by the respective institute's rules.

 

The seat allocation process involves candidates submitting their choice of institute and subject/ specialty online. Seats are then allocated according to the applicable merit, choices, category, seat availability, and allocation rules. AIIMS publishes separate notifications and schedules for the seat allocation rounds.

 

The major steps involved in the INI CET Counselling 2027 are:

• Declaration of INI CET 2027 result.
• Registration/participation in online seat allocation.
• Filling and submitting institute and subject/specialty choices.

College Accepting INI CET 2027 Score

The INI CET 2027 score is used for admission to postgraduate medical courses at participating Institutes of National Importance (INIs). The participating institutes include AIIMS campuses, JIPMER Puducherry, NIMHANS Bengaluru, PGIMER Chandigarh and SCTIMST Thiruvananthapuram, among others.
