The official Re-NEET UG 2026 Answer Key (final) has been released on July 16, 2026, along with the results, on the official website of NTA NEET at neet.nta.nic.in/. Click on the “Final Answer Keys for NEET (UG) – 2026 Re-Examination” link to be redirected to the final answer key. The provisional answer key was released by the National Testing Agency (NTA) on June 25, 2026. They were made available as an answer key solution PDF for all four sets, i.e., set 50, 60, 70, and 80. The correct responses of the questions asked in the NEET UG 2026 re-exam have been provided in the answer key PDFs. The answer key challenge window was made available till June 28, 2026. After reviewing the objections raised against the provisional answer key, the final answer key will be released by the NTA before the results.

 

NTA also released the Re NEET UG 2026 response sheets on July 13, 2026, as scanned OMR sheets. You can download your OMR sheets from the official website at neet.nta.nic.in/ using your Application Number and Password. The response sheet challenge window was also made available from July 13 to July 15, 2026 (up to 11 AM) through which you could raise objections against the OMR sheet by paying a professing fee of INR 200 for each response challenge (non-refundable).

How to Download the Re-NEET 2026 Official Answer Key PDF?

The official answer key for the Re-NEET 2026 exam will be released soon on the official website of the NTA. Follow the steps provided below to check and download the NEET UG 2026 re-exam answer key:

 

Step 1: Go to the official NTA NEET portal at neet.nta.nic.in.

 

Step 2: Go through the "News & Events" section on the homepage carefully and click on the “Final Answer Keys for NEET (UG) – 2026 Re-Examination” link. Also, check for the link to download the OMR Response Sheet.

 

Step 3: You do not need to enter any credentials to download the final and provisional answer keys. However, you need to log in to the candidate dashboard using your NEET 2026 Application Number, Password, and the security pin or Captcha code to get access to the NEET response sheet 2026.

 

Step 4: The final answer key will be automatically displayed on the screen. For downloading the provisional answer key, go to the drop-down menu, view, and select your specific question paper code (50, 60, 70, or 80). You will also get access to the corresponding answer key PDF along with the paper code.

 

Step 5: Finally, click on the "Download Answer Key" icon to open the PDF. Save the official answer key PDF and print it for future reference.

 

Step 6: If you wish to verify how many of your marked answers are correct, download your scanned OMR Response Sheet, which will contain the recorded responses. Save and print the document for future reference.

 

How to Calculate Your Score Using the Answer Key of Re-NEET 2026?

A total of 180 multiple-choice questions are asked in the NEET UG exam and the total marks stand at 720. Tally your answers with the official NEET 2026 answer key once NTA releases it. While you cross-verify your answers, do not forget to check the code of the NEET Question Paper and answer key. Moreover, ensure that the language given at the top of the answer key and the OMR sheet is the same. The estimated Re-NEET UG 2026 score can be obtained using the NTA's official NEET marking scheme that is provided below.

The marking system for the Re NEET 2026 exam is as follows:

  • 4 marks will be awarded for each correct answer.
  • 1 mark will be deducted for each incorrect response.
  • No marks will be deducted for unanswered or unattempted questions.

How to Challenge the Re NEET 2026 Provisional Answer Key using the Objection Window?

An online objection window will be made accessible by the NTA for a span of 4-5 days after the provisional answer keys are released, through which candidates can submit challenges against each provisional answer key. If you feel there is a discrepancy between the answers marked by you and the official key provided by the NTA, or a question has been answered incorrectly in the official draft, you have the privilege to challenge it by following the steps mentioned below:

 

Step 1: Go to the official NTA NEET candidate portal at neet.nta.nic.in.

 

Step 2: Click on the “Answer Key Challenge for NEET(UG) – 2026 Re-Examination” link under the “Candidate Activity” section on the homepage. To access the link, log in by entering your NEET 2026 Application Number, Password, and Captcha Code.

 

Step 3: Determine which question(s) you find incorrect, and click on the "Challenge Provisional Answer Key" tab to get access to the question paper IDs along with the correct options officially recorded by the NTA.

 

Step 4: The questions will be provided in a sequence, and the answers provided by the NTA can be found under the "Correct Option" section. Choose the question you wish to challenge and select the Question ID. A box will be provided along with option IDs (1, 2, 3, or 4). You must check the box for the option that you think is the correct answer.

 

Step 5: There will be a document upload section at the bottom of the page, where you must upload supporting documents (such as pages of NCERT textbooks and other reference books) to prove that your claim is valid. After this, click on the ‘Submit’ button.

 

Step 5: Next, pay the objection fee of INR 200 per question challenged via Debit Card or Credit Card. Note that the fee cannot be refunded if the challenge is rejected.

 

Step 6: Finally, you will be redirected to an Answer Key Challenge Confirmation Page after a successful payment transaction. Download and print the objection receipt for future reference.

 

The subject-matter experts appointed by NTA will be responsible for reviewing the objections submitted against the provisional answer key. Upon the objection being confirmed as valid, full marks (+4) will be awarded to all candidates who attempted that question (regardless of the answer being correct or incorrect). A final answer key will be formulated by the NTA before the formal release of the results.

 

Re-NEET UG 2026 Response Sheet

The Re NEET 2026 OMR Response Sheet PDF was released on July 13, 2026. You could also raise objections against the recorded responses from July 13, 2026. The last date to challenge the response sheet and make the fee payment was July 15, 2026 (11:00 AM).

 

To access your Re NEET OMR Sheet 2026, you must keep some details ready including your Application Number, Password, Registered Mobile Number, Registered Email ID, and OTP received through Two-Factor Authentication.

 

The answers marked by you in the Re NEET 2026 exam are included in the NEET UG response sheet 2026. How to Challenge the Re NEET 2026 Response Sheet?

If you find any discrepancy between the answers marked by you in the Re NEET 2026 exam and the responses recorded in the scanned OMR sheet, you are allowed to challenge the response sheet online at neet.nta.nic.in when the objection window is made available. You must pay a processing fee of INR 200 per response challenged. This processing fee cannot be refunded.
