Arunachal Pradesh NEET Counselling 2026 registration is underway from August 13 to 19, 2026. The Directorate of Higher & Technical Education (DHTE), Arunachal Pradesh is conducting the counselling process for MBBS, BDS and other PCB Group courses based on NEET UG 2026 merit. The provisional inter-se merit list was released on July 31, 2026, and candidates participating in Round 1 must complete registration, document submission and choice filling within the prescribed deadlines.

 

For candidates applying in the current round, choice filling and locking will remain open until August 20, 2026, while the Round 1 seat allotment result is scheduled for August 21, 2026. Candidates allotted seats in Round 1 will have to report to their respective institutes from August 24 to 26, 2026.

Important: Arunachal Pradesh NEET Counselling 2026 and MCC NEET UG Counselling 2026 are separate counselling processes.

  • DHTE Arunachal Pradesh is conducting its Round 1 counselling from August 13 to 19, 2026, with document uploading and choice filling/locking continuing up to August 20 and Round 1 seat allotment scheduled for August 21, 2026.
  • MCC conducts counselling for 15% All India Quota (AIQ) seats of eligible government medical and dental colleges across India, including participating government institutions in Arunachal Pradesh. Candidates applying for Arunachal Pradesh NEET Counselling must satisfy the eligibility requirements prescribed by the Directorate of Higher & Technical Education. Apart from qualifying NEET UG 2026, applicants must fulfil the educational qualification, age requirement, and domicile conditions applicable for State Quota admissions.

Arunachal Pradesh NEET Counselling 2026 Registration Process

The Arunachal Pradesh NEET Counselling registration process is conducted online through the official counselling portal notified by the Directorate of Higher & Technical Education (DHTE). Candidates must complete every stage of the counselling process within the prescribed deadline to be considered for seat allotment. Any incomplete application or failure to participate in a counselling round may lead to disqualification from that round.

 

Steps to Register for Arunachal Pradesh NEET Counselling 2026

Step 1: Online Registration: Visit the official DHTE Arunachal Pradesh counselling portal and register using your NEET UG 2026 Roll Number, application number, personal details, email ID, and mobile number. After successful registration, create login credentials for future counselling activities.

 

Step 2: Fill the Application Form: Log in to the counselling portal and provide all the required personal, academic, communication, and NEET examination details. Candidates should carefully verify every entry before submitting the application.

 

Step 3: Upload Required Documents: Upload scanned copies of the prescribed documents, including educational certificates, NEET scorecard, domicile certificate, identity proof, and category certificate (if applicable), in the specified format.

 

Step 4: Payment of Registration Fee: Pay the counselling registration fee through the available online payment modes. The application is considered complete only after successful payment.

 

Step 5: Document Verification: The counselling authority verifies all submitted documents before preparing the State Merit List. Candidates with incorrect or incomplete documents may be declared ineligible.

 

Step 6: State Merit List: DHTE releases the Arunachal Pradesh State Merit List based on NEET UG rank and eligibility criteria. Only shortlisted candidates can participate in choice filling.

The State Counselling Authority conducts admissions to 85% State Quota MBBS seats in government medical colleges located within Arunachal Pradesh.
