RRB Group D 2025 Application Process: How to Apply?

The RRB Group D application was available only in online mode. No offline forms or hard copies were accepted. Candidates needed to:

1. Students must visit the RRB website and select their zone.
2. Complete the registration with personal and academic details.
3. Verify email and phone via OTP.
4. Fill Part I (qualification, category) and Part II (post preference).
5. Upload required documents (photo, signature, SC/ST certificate, etc.).
6. Pay the application fee online.
7. Submit and print the final application form.

Note: Candidates who belong to the General/ EWS/ OBC categories will receive a partial refund of INR 400 after deducting the bank charges. However, for reserved category students, a full refund will be provided after the exam.

RRB Group D 2025 Application Process: Correction Window

Candidates who had submitted their online application forms for RRB Group D 2025 were allowed to make corrections within a specified period. For this year, the correction facility was available from March 4 to March 13, 2025. Students could edit most of the details except the railway zone, email ID, and mobile number. The modification could be done a maximum of two times only. Other information regarding the modification fee is highlighted below:

• Students would have to pay a non-refundable modification fee of INR 100 for all categories.
• If students were to change their categories from SC/ ST to General/ OBC, they would have to pay INR 250 extra in addition to INR 100.
• For changing from PwBD/ Ex.SM/Female/Transgender to UR/OBC/Male/Non-Ex.SM, the fee was INR 250 extra (in addition to INR 100).

• Date of birth
• Registered email ID or Aadhaar number

Common Reasons for Application Rejection

The authorities reject candidates’ applications in case of an invalid photograph, wrong or incomplete education details, and many other incorrect information. Listed below are the common reasons why the applications may not get accepted:

• Invalid photo, including black and white images, wearing a cap or goggles, selfies or group photos, blurry, small, or side-profile images, photos taken on mobile phones or morphed images, etc.
• Signature in capital letters (Signatures must be in running hand)
• Incorrect age (either underage or overage)
• Wrong or incomplete educational details
• Multiple applications submitted for the same or different railway zones
• Candidate’s name appears on the RRB/RRC debarred list
• Incomplete or wrongly filled application details

Note: Submitting multiple applications can lead to disqualification from this and future RRB/RRC exams.

RRB Group D 2025 Eligibility Criteria
