AYUSH NEET Cutoff 2025, Check Expected & Previous Year Cutoffs

Last update: May 03, 2025

AYUSH NEET Cutoff 2025: The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test 2025 is the gateway for students aspiring to pursue medical and AYUSH courses in India. NEET 2025 is expected to follow the pattern of previous years, serving as a single entrance exam for MBBS, BDS, and AYUSH courses like BAMS (Ayurveda), BHMS (Homeopathy), BUMS (Unani), and BSMS (Siddha). The NEET 2025 exam is scheduled to be held on May 04, 2025 with results to be released on June 14, 2025.

In 2024, the AYUSH NEET Qualifying Cutoff was reduced by 15 percentile across all categories. This change was implemented to fill vacant seats and ensure that more students could pursue careers in traditional medicine systems. The reduction in cutoff scores led to a significant increase in the number of students qualifying for AYUSH courses. In 2024, the qualifying cutoff for the General category was between 720-162 marks, and for SC/ST/OBC categories, it ranged from 161-127 marks.

For 2025, the expected cutoff marks for BAMS are 590+ for General, 580+ for OBC, 470+ for SC, and 430+ for ST categories. Similarly, for BHMS, the expected cutoff is 530+ for General and around 380+ for ST candidates. The expected cutoff for BUMS is 580+ for General and 400+ for ST. For BSMS, General category students may need at least 560+ marks, while ST candidates may qualify with 360+ marks. Read further to know more about the AYUSH NEET Cutoff 2025.

Factors Affecting AYUSH NEET 2025 Cutoff

Several factors influence the AYUSH NEET cutoff each year. The NEET Authorities consider these factors to decide the NEET 2025 Cutoff. The factors affecting AYUSH NEET Cutoff 2025 are as given below-

  • Number of Applicants: An increase in the number of candidates can raise the competition, potentially leading to higher cutoff scores.
  • Difficulty Level of the Exam: Difficult level of exam may result in lower overall scores, which can reduce the cutoff marks.
  • Availability of Seats: The number of seats available in AYUSH courses directly impacts the cutoff; more seats may lead to a lower cutoff.
  • Category-wise Reservation: Reservations for SC, ST, OBC, and EWS categories affect the cutoff scores for each group.
  • Previous Year Cutoff Trends influences expected cutoff marks and preparations for the current year.

AYUSH NEET Cutoff 2025 (Expected)

Based on the NEET 2024 Cutoff, the AYUSH NEET 2025 cutoff is anticipated to be slightly higher due to increased competition and normalization of qualifying percentiles. In 2024, the qualifying cutoff for the General category was between 720-162 marks, and for SC/ST/OBC categories, it ranged from 161-127 marks. For 2025, a marginal increase of 5-10 marks in the cutoff scores is expected across all categories. Check out the following table for AYUSH NEET Expected Cutoff 2025.

AYUSH NEET Cutoff 2025 FAQs

What is the AYUSH NEET Cutoff?

The AYUSH NEET cutoff is the minimum score or rank required to get admission in BAMS, BHMS, BUMS, and BSMS courses through NEET. It is released by the respective counselling authorities after each round.

Who releases the AYUSH NEET Cutoff?

The AYUSH NEET cutoff is released by the Ayush Admission Central Counselling Committee (AACCC) for All India Quota seats. State authorities also release separate cutoffs for State Quota seats.

Is the AYUSH cutoff same for all courses like BAMS and BHMS?

No, the AYUSH cutoff varies for each course such as BAMS, BHMS, BUMS, and BSMS. It also differs based on college, category, and the number of available seats.

What factors determine the AYUSH NEET cutoff?

The cutoff depends on factors like the number of applicants, total seats, difficulty level of NEET, and previous year’s cutoff trends. Higher competition usually leads to a higher cutoff.

What was the general category cutoff rank for BHMS in 2023?

In 2023, the general category BHMS cutoff rank for top government colleges ranged between 23,000 and 1,62,000, depending on the institution.

Can I get a BHMS seat with 300 marks in NEET?

Yes, you may get a BHMS seat in private or semi-government colleges with 300 marks. But chances in top government colleges are low with this score.

How much NEET score is considered safe for BHMS admission in government colleges?

A score above 400–450 marks is generally considered safe for BHMS admission in government colleges for the general category. Reserved category students may get seats with lower marks.

What is the minimum NEET score required for AYUSH courses?

The minimum score required to qualify for AYUSH courses like BAMS or BHMS is generally around 137 for general and 107 for SC/ST/OBC (based on NEET qualifying marks). However, the cutoff for actual admission is usually higher.

Is there a separate counselling for AYUSH admissions?

Yes, AYUSH admissions are done through AACCC counselling for 15% All India Quota and state counselling for the remaining 85% State Quota seats.

How can I check the official AYUSH NEET cutoff?

You can check the official AYUSH NEET cutoff on the AACCC website (aaccc.gov.in). Cutoffs are published after each round of counselling along with opening and closing ranks.
