JMI Delhi Admission 2025: Courses, Fees, Eligibility, Entrance Exam & Application Procedure

JMI offers admissions in various fields, including Engineering, Management, Language, Journalism, Dentistry, Nursing, Teaching, and others. The minimum eligibility for postgraduate courses (including PGDM) is a 50% aggregate in the graduation program. For UG courses (including Diploma and Certificate courses), the minimum eligibility is 45% in 10+2 exams. An Advanced Diploma is awarded to candidates who are already graduates or diploma holders with an aggregate of 50% or higher. Ph.D. admissions are open to candidates who hold a master’s degree or an M.Phil. degree.

Admission to the courses is based on entrance tests conducted by the college and national educational committees. The entrance exams that JMI accepts are JMIEE, JEE Main, CAT, NEET, NATA, UGC-NET, and GATE. The duration of PG courses is 2 years, UG courses are 4 years, Diploma (PGDM and Advanced Diploma) courses are 1-3 years, Certificate courses are 1 year, and Ph.D. Courses are 3-5 years. The tuition fees for the courses range from INR 10,000 to INR 1.6 L. Admission for the academic year 2024-25 is currently underway, and registration for some courses is still open.

CAT 2025 registration started on August 1, 2025, at 10:00 AM and will close on September 13, 2025, at 5:00 PM. Admit cards will be available for download from 5 November 5 to 30 November 2025. The CAT 2025 exam is scheduled for 30 November 2025, and the results are likely to be announced in the first week of January 2026. The CAT application fee has been revised to INR 2600 for General category candidates and INR 1300 for SC/ST/PwD candidates.

JMI Delhi UG Admissions 2025

JMI offers a Bachelor’s degree in various fields and their specialisations, resulting in a total of 66 undergraduate courses. The duration of the degree is 4-5 years, with a tuition fee ranging from INR 10,000 to INR 1.5 lakh per year. The minimum eligibility for a UG degree is a minimum of 45% in 10+2 exams in relevant streams from a recognised board (including state boards). However, admission to the courses and the induction of candidates are based on entrance exams at both the national and college levels. For undergraduate admission, JMI accepts JMIEE, JEE Main, NEET, NATA, and CUET scores.

JMI offers a Master’s degree in various fields, including Engineering, Management, Language, Journalism, Science, Architecture, and more. The duration of the courses is primarily 2 years, with a tuition fee ranging from INR 10,000 to INR 1.6 lakhs per year. The minimum eligibility to apply for the courses is a 50% aggregate in graduation in the relevant stream (based on the degree and specialisation) from a recognised university. However, the final selection of the candidates for the seats in the courses is based on entrance exams and the merit list. For PG courses admission, the entrance tests accepted by JMI are CUET-PG, CAT and JMIEE. Some of the postgraduate courses, such as the MBA, also involve interviews and group discussions, which are followed by entrance exams as part of the selection process.

JMI Delhi PGDM Admission 2025

JMI offers 19 PGDM programs with different specialisations. The minimum eligibility to apply for a PGDM course is a minimum of 50% in graduation. The PGDM programs of JMI are 2 years in duration, with an annual fee of INR 10. Admission to the courses is based on the merit list prepared by JMI, which is determined by the scores of the entrance exam, JMIEE.

JMI Delhi Ph.D Admission 2025

It offers a Doctoral program in 56 courses in a regular mode. The duration of the Ph.D courses is not more than 6 years, and not less than 3 years. The minimum eligibility is a master’s degree in a relevant stream to the chosen Ph.D. course, or an M.Phil. degree. The tuition fees for the courses range from INR 10,000 to INR 15,000 per year. Admission into the program is also based on the entrance test at both the national and college levels. Followed by the entrance test is an interview. The entrance exams accepted by JMI for Ph.D courses are JMIEE, UGC-NET, and GATE.

JMI offers a Diploma degree in 20 courses, comprising both full-time and part-time programs. The minimum eligibility to submit the candidature for a Diploma course in JMI is 45% in 10+2 in relevant streams (based on the specialisation). However, the final induction of candidates into the seats of Diploma degrees is based on an entrance exam conducted by JMI (JMIEE). The duration of the Diploma degrees is 1-3 years, with a tuition fee ranging from INR 10,000 to INR 52,000 per year.

Along with a Diploma, JMI also provides an Advanced Diploma in various fields and specialisations. The duration of this degree is primarily 1 year, and the tuition fee ranges from INR 10,000 to INR 42,000. The minimum eligibility to apply for the course is a 50% aggregate in graduation or a Diploma in a relevant course. However, admission into the Advanced Diploma courses is based on an entrance exam conducted by JMI, specifically the JMIEE.

JMI offers 21 Certificate programs in various specialisations, with tuition fees ranging from INR 10,000 to INR 40,000 for 1 year. The duration of the courses is 1 year, and the minimum eligibility is a 45% aggregate in 10+2 exams from a recognised board. Admission into the Certificate programs is also based on an entrance exam conducted by JMI, specifically the JMIEE. However, some certificate courses require no entrance test, but there are terms and conditions applied.
