The Translational Health Science and Technology Institute has opened admissions for the 2025 academic session across various programs, including Ph.D., M.Sc. Clinical Research, and short-term training for UG and PG students. As an autonomous institute under the Department of Biotechnology, Government of India, THSTI's objective is to aid in health research and development through the integration of science and technology. M.Sc. Clinical Research is a 2-year course for MBBS, BDS, BAMS etc. holders whereas for Ph.D. the candidates should have at least 55% marks in a Life Sciences Engineering or Mathematics postgraduate degree along with a valid national fellowship as UGC, CSIR, DBT or ICMR. Public universities can offer 6 months of short-term training to undergraduate and postgraduate students. There are two steps in the admission process, the first is an online application, and the second is a screening and interview. All essential documents must be submitted before the deadline. THSTI UG Admission 2025

The short-term training program for undergraduate students at public universities is a 6 monthly initiative, which is structured to identify the approaches to research methodologies in health sciences. This equips bachelor’s students in laboratory techniques, data analysis, and translational research projects on the basic science of emerging diseases at THSTI under the guidance of experts. Through such early exposure, students are ready for their further education and research careers. The institute only recruits those who are most motivated and have a lot of promise about them. This helped to fill the gap in academics and bridged the gap of practical exposure beyond classroom learning.

THSTI PG Admission 2025

M.Sc. in Clinical Research is a 2 years post-graduation course for medical course graduates e.g. MBBS, BDS & BAMS students. The course is structured to help gain a deep understanding of the clinical trial design, ethics, biostatistics and regulatory frameworks. The program provides both theoretical and practical basic background to students for their approach to careers in hospitals, CROs and the Pharmaceutical industries. Furthermore, under the supervision of the expert scientists at THSTI’s labs, short-term training, of 6 months duration, with emphasis on advanced research experience is provided to master candidates from public universities.

THSTI Ph.d. Admission 2025

THSTI Ph.D. program lasts between 3 to 5 years and is being run in conjunction with Jawaharlal Nehru University. It aims to prepare postgraduate students of Life Sciences, Engineering or Mathematics who have obtained 55% marks and above. Wire column ads are also placed by candidates who have to possess national-level fellowships such as CSIR, UGC, DBT or ICMR. The program provides rigorous coursework and high-impact research on issues in infection biology, maternal and child health and diagnostics. THSTI provides state-of-the-art facilities along with interdisciplinary mentorship, which is an excellent platform for prospective research scholars.

THSTI Admission 2025

The THSTI is inviting applications for its Ph.D. program for the 2025–26 Winter Session. It is a national-level program, offered in collaboration with JNU, for those who are with valid national-level fellowships.

• Program Overview: THSTI, in cooperation with the JNU, announces the call for application into the Winter 2025 Ph.D. program aimed to carry out research in the field of health sciences in the biomedical and translational domain.
• Eligibility Requirements: Applicants must have a postgraduate degree in life sciences or a related discipline and must have been awarded a fellowship with at least 55% marks of national and statutory fellowship grantable by UGC, CSIR, ICMR, and DBT.
• Application Deadline: The online application closing date is April 17, 2025, all documents required shall be uploaded including fellowship proof, academic certificates and photographs will be considered if uploaded before the application deadline.
• Admission Process: Shortlisting will be such that candidates will be invited for interviews at THSTI’s Faridabad campus and selection will be based on academic merit, fellowship status and interview performance.
• Research Environment: The THSTI has selected candidates and will provide them with state-of-the-art laboratories, collaborative research opportunities, and structured Ph.D. coursework and will be an ideal institute for biomedical research training.
