Jharkhand ANM Admission Process 2025

The ANM in Jharkhand provides a two-year diploma course that provides training to candidates in basic nursing and midwifery skills. The ANM graduates are compatible with operational roles in primary healthcare and community health services. Eligible candidates can participate in centralised counselling conducted for various government and private nursing institutions to pursue the ANM degree.

Jharkhand ANM (Auxiliary Nurse Midwife) admission process is conducted by Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (JCECEB). This process takes place on a state entrance basis. It is expected that the application process shall commence in August, and the entry test shall take place in September 2025, tentatively. • Only female candidates are permitted to apply for the course.
• The candidate should be a citizen of India and a resident of Jharkhand.
• She should be at least 17 years of age but not more than 35 years of age on 31 December 2025.
• A candidate must have completed class 12 or the Intermediate level in the Arts or Science stream from a recognized board. She must have English as a subject.
• A candidate must possess at least 50% marks in aggregate in class 12, for the general category, whereas for the reserved categories, the relaxation will be according to government rules.
• Candidates must be medically fit.
• Students who have done their 10+2 from the National Institute of Open School are also eligible.
• For applicants in the reserved category, an upper age relaxation of 5 years would be applicable.

The ANM admission in Jharkhand is based on merit or the score secured in the entrance exams. Candidates from Jharkhand can appear for the Auxiliary Nurse Midwife exam conducted by the JCECEB board.

Step 2: The results are declared online, and a merit list is prepared depending on the performance in the entrance examination.

Step 3: Eligible candidates take part in centralised counselling wherein one must register, upload documents, and fill in their choice of colleges.

Step 4: The allotment of seats happens on merit and under category and preference; candidates allotted a seat must report to the respective college for document verification and admission.
