Goa ANM Admission Process

• To be selected, students should have achieved at least 45% aggregate marks (40% marks for the SC/ST category).
• Students should have stayed in Goa for at least 10 years before they take the qualifying exam.
• Children of Central or Goa State Government employees, and students under the Navodaya Vidyalaya exchange program, may get some relaxation in the residence rule.
• Students must be in good physical and mental health. Those found medically unfit will not be allowed to continue the course.
• Knowledge of Konkani or Marathi is desirable but not compulsory.
• Admission is based on merit in the qualifying examination, not on an entrance test. Priority is given to students from the Science stream, then Health Care Science (vocational), and finally Arts and Commerce, if seats remain vacant.

Goa ANM Entrance Exams 2025

There is no entrance test for the ANM course in Goa. The admission to the course takes place solely on the basis of marks obtained by students at their Class 12 board exams. There is no need for students to prepare for or sit in any national, state, or university-level entrance exam for this course in Goa.

The students are selected strictly on merit. Students need to complete the application form, submit the same along with all the documents required, and then wait for the release of the merit list by either the Institute of Nursing Education or the Directorate of Health Services, Goa.

Goa ANM Course Admission Process 2025

Step 1: Students must pay INR 200 and collect the prospectus at the office of the Institute of Nursing Education in Bambolim, Goa. The application form is found at the end of the prospectus.
