In India, there are several colleges that provide BSc Geology programs, mainly state universities, central universities and leading private institutions. Course fees are quite different depending on the college type. In the case of the private colleges, the average total course fee is somewhere around INR 1,50,000 to INR 5,00,000, whereas in the government-run universities, the amount of fees charged is usually very low, normally a range between INR 5,000 to INR 80,000. The fees usually include tuition fee, lab fee, registration and examination fee, though personal and mess and hostel expenses are not included.
