BITSAT Eligibility Criteria 2026 will be prescribed by BITS Pilani through its official notification. The BITSAT 2026 notification will be released in January on the official website, bitsadmission.com. Candidates who wish to apply for courses such as BE and B.Pharm at BITS must meet the required eligibility criteria of BITSAT 2026. To be eligible for the exam, candidates must have completed their 12th grade examination in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics or Biology and obtained a minimum of 75% in these subjects combined. Candidates who passed their 12th examinations in 2024 or earlier are not eligible for BITSAT 2026. BITSAT Eligibility Criteria 2026

The candidates appearing for the BITSAT 2026 must check the criteria required to be eligible for the BITSAT 2026. BITS Pilani will conduct BITSAT 2026 registration in January 2026. Read the following points listed below to know about the BITSAT 2026 Eligibility Criteria:

They must have scored at least 60 per cent in each subject. The candidate must have proficiency in English.

BITSAT Eligibility Criteria 2026 Course-Wise

Courses offered by the Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS) Pilani require candidates to fulfil certain conditions. The important criterion is that candidates must have passed their 10+2 examinations in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology. Here is the course-wise eligibility criteria for the BITSAT 2026 in the table given below:

BE (Excluding BE ESE) and MSc	Candidates must have completed the 10+2 examinations from a recognised central or state board or its equivalent. Must have studied a minimum of five subjects, namely Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, one language subject, and one additional subject. Must have obtained an aggregate of 75% in Chemistry, Physics, and Mathematics. Must have scored at least 60% marks in Chemistry, Physics, and Mathematics individually. The percentage must be calculated including both theory and practical marks.
B.Pharm. and BE ESE	Candidates must have completed 10+2 examinations from a recognised central or state board or its equivalent. Must have studied a minimum of five subjects, namely Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics or Biology, one Language subject, and one additional subject. Must have obtained an aggregate of 75% in Chemistry, Physics, and Mathematics/ Biology. Must have scored at least 60% marks in Chemistry, Physics, and Mathematics/ Biology individually. The percentage should be calculated including both theory and practical scores. Candidates who took PCB streams must have proficiency in Mathematics equivalent to Class 10 level.
Other Programs	Must have appeared/passed the 10+2 examinations. Must have studied Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics or Biology

Note: BE in ESE stands for BE Environmental and Sustainability Engineering.

BITSAT Eligibility Criteria 2026 for International Students

International students can apply for BITSAT 2026 by meeting specific eligibility criteria. Students from the CAIE (Cambridge Assessment International Education) can appear for BITSAT if they have completed the necessary subjects at A level. International Baccalaureate (IB) students must have passed the required subjects at the higher level. In addition, students planning to secure admission through BITS’s International Students Admission Scheme must meet the following criteria:
