BITSAT Results 2026: Session 2 (Out), How to Download, Merit List, Admit List

BITSAT Results 2026 are released by BITS Pilani on the official website, bitsadmission.com. The BITSAT 2026 Session 1 result was announced on April 29, 2026, for candidates who appeared in the exam held from April 15 to 17, 2026. The BITSAT 2026 Session 2 exam is being conducted from May 24 to 26, 2026, and its result was released on June 5, 2026. Candidates can check and download their BITSAT 2026 result using their application number and password.

The BITSAT counselling process will be conducted based on moderated scores, and candidates must also meet the 75% marks criteria in Class 12 to take part in the admission process. Candidates can edit their marks and course preferences for counselling from June 3 to 5, 2026. The admit list and waitlist after Iteration I for BITSAT 2026 will be announced on June 15, 2026. How to Check BITSAT 2026 Result in case of a Forgotten Application Number?

If a candidate forgets their BITSAT 2026 login credentials, i.e., application number, they can still log in to retrieve their scorecard through an alternative method. The steps given below outline the process of accessing the BITSAT 2026 scorecard:

• Navigate to the 'Forgot Application Number or Password'.
• Enter the Registered Mobile Number, Email ID and Date of Birth, and submit.

BITSAT Result 2026: Tie-Breaking Criteria

Admissions to all programs offered by the various campuses of BITS are based solely on merit, determined by the scores obtained by candidates in the BITSAT 2026 examination. Where multiple candidates score equally on BITSAT, the following tie-breaking criteria would be used for such cases:

• The candidate’s Mathematics or Biology score will be considered while preparing for the BITSAT 2026 Merit List.
• If the tie still exists, then the authority will prioritise the candidate’s Physics score.
• And if the tie still exists, then the Chemistry score will be preferred.
• And again, if the tie exists, then the candidate’s Class 12 total marks in PCB/PCM will be preferred.

BITSAT Merit List 2026

The candidates will be eligible for the BITSAT 2026 Merit List if they achieve the minimum marks set by the authorities in BITSAT 2026, as well as in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics of their 12th class examination. Additionally, there will be separate merit lists for admission, one for all programmes except B.Pharm, and the other specifically for B.Pharm candidates. Along with this, BITS Pilani will also release the admit list and waitlist of candidates on its official website.

BITSAT Admit List 2026

The names of candidates who will meet the minimum cutoff will be on the Admit List. Those whose names appear on the BITSAT Admit List will be invited to take part in the counselling process of BITSAT 2026. The BITSAT Admit List will be published before each iteration round. Candidates listed in the Admit List will be required to submit their admission application form.

BITSAT Wait List 2026

Candidates placed on the wait list for BITSAT 2026 will have to wait for the next iteration round to know their selection status. The Wait List will comprise the names of all eligible candidates who can be considered in case of vacancies in seats. Sometimes, candidates may withdraw from the admission process, and in such cases, preference will be given to candidates on the waitlist.
