The BITSAT 2025 results for both sessions I and II were released on bitsadmission.com. The session I results were made available on June 16, while for session II, it was released on July 4. BITSAT 2025 Tie-Breaking Criteria
Admissions to all programs offered by the various campuses of BITS are based solely on merit, determined by the scores obtained by candidates in the BITSAT 2025 examination. Additionally, candidates must ensure that they meet all the eligibility criteria, including the minimum marks required in the Class XII Board examination or an equivalent qualifying examination. Where multiple candidates score equally on BITSAT, the following tie-breaking criteria would be used for such cases:
- The scores candidates have scored in the Mathematics/ Biology (for BPharm) sections of the BITSAT will be considered to draw a merit list.
- In case of a tie, the merit list will be prepared on the basis of scores in the Physics section of BITSAT.
- In case the tie is not solved, then marks in the Chemistry section of the BITSAT would be considered for evaluation.
- Finally, if a tie still continues, then the cumulative marks scored by all candidates of the Class 12 exam in PCM/PCB for BPharm shall also be considered.

BITSAT 2025 Merit List
The candidates will be eligible for the merit list for admission if they achieve the minimum marks set by or as fixed by the authorities in BITSAT 2025, as well as in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics of their 12th class examination. Additionally, there will be separate merit lists for admission, one for all programs except B.Pharma, and the other specifically for B.Pharma candidates. BITSAT will also release an admission list and a waitlist.
BITSAT 2025 Admit List
The names of candidates who have cleared the minimum cutoff will be on the Admit List. Those whose names appear on the BITSAT Admit List will be invited to take part in the Counselling process of BITSAT 2025. The BITSAT Admit List will be published before each iteration round. Candidates listed in the Admit List will be required to submit their admission application form.
BITSAT 2025 Wait List
Candidates placed on the Wait List for BITSAT 2025 will have to wait for the next iteration round to know their selection status. The Wait List will comprise the names of all eligible candidates who can be considered in case of vacancies in seats. Sometimes, candidates may withdraw from the admission process, and in such cases, preference will be given to candidates on the Wait List.
