  2. Click on New Candidate Registration.
  3. Register for the exam by filling in the required information and clicking on the submit button.

  6. Upload scanned images of the photo and signature.
  7. Pay the application fees of INR 800.

MHT CET 2025 Detailed Application Process

The MHT CET registration process 2025 started from December 30, 2025, to February 27, 2025, with late fees. The MHT CET 2025 Application form was available only online. MHT CET 2025 registration involved various steps, including filling out the application form, uploading documents, and paying the application fee. Students followed the steps given below to fill out the MHT CET application form 2025:

 

Step 1: MHT CET 2025 Registration

  • The first step in the application process is registration. The following information has to be filled in while registering.
  • Enter Personal Details like the Candidate’s Full Name, Father’s Name, Mother’s Name, Gender, Date of Birth, Candidate’s region, Annual Family Income, Mother Tongue, and Nationality.
  • The Permanent Address of the candidate, including the PIN Code, should be filled in. The mobile number and email address should be filled in during registration for further communication.
  • Create a Password of 8 to 13 characters must be created per the instructions given to create a password.
  • The next step is to click on save and proceed. After this, a one-time password will be sent to the registered mobile number.
  • The one-time password should be entered and verified in the space given.
  • Immediately after that, an application number will be generated. The candidate should save the application number.

 

Step 2: Filling the Online Application Form

The candidate must enter the application number and password generated to open the application form. The candidates must fill in the following details in the application form.

  1. Domicile Details: Candidates must select their domicile as either Maharashtra or non-Maharashtra.
  2. Category Details: In this section, candidates must fill in the following details, including the candidate's category, family annual income, Caste name, and indicate whether the candidate is a person with disabilities. Additionally, candidates must specify whether they wish to apply for the economically weaker section.
  3. Education Details: The candidate must fill in Class 10 and Class 12 percentages and all the related information in this section.
  4. MHT CET Examination Details: Candidates should then select their examination details. They will be prompted to select the subject group, language preference, and examination centre.
  • Select the subject group for MHT CET 2025: Candidates must select whether it is PCM/PCB or both.
  • Select the language/medium of the question paper: Candidates must select either English, Marathi, or Urdu.
  • Select MHT-CET 2025 Examination Centre: Candidates can enter their preferred examination centres.

 

Step 3: Upload Scanned Images & Signature

The candidates are also required to upload a scanned copy of their passport-size colour photograph and signature in the MHT CET application form 2025. To upload images, candidates are required to click the "Upload Photo & Signature" link on the MHT CET website during registration. The photograph and signature uploaded by the candidates should follow the standard set by the conducting authority of the exam.

For uploading a photograph:

  • Provide a recent colour passport-sized photograph. The photo should be taken against a light/white background. Your application can be refused if the face on the photo is not clearly visible.
  • The file size of the photograph must be between 15 KB and 50 KB. Otherwise, the system will reject it.
  • To minimise the size, crop the passport-size photograph image in MS Paint or any Photo Editing Software.
  • Make sure to crop only the entire face area and not the entire picture.

For Uploading Signature:

  • The candidate must sign (no capital letters) on white paper using a black ink pen.
  • Copy and scan the signature in 200 dpi (scanner resolution setting dots per inch) and save as a file ranging from 5 KB to 20 KB in.jpg format.
  • To minimise the size, crop the signature image in MS Paint or any Photo Editor. Ensure that the signature area only is cropped, and not the whole A4 paper on which you have signed.
  • Once the candidate has successfully uploaded the photo and signature files, the system will display the photo and signature uploaded on the screen. If they have been uploaded properly, you should proceed with the online payment.

Step 4: MHT CET 2025 Application Fee Payment

Applicants are required to pay the MHT CET 2025 application fee as per the requirements using net banking/Credit Card/Debit Card/Mobile wallets. The candidate should pay the service charge (if applicable). All applicants should note that the MHT CET 2025 application fee is non-transferable and non-refundable under any circumstances. Step 5: Confirmation Page

A confirmation is shown on the screen upon successful payment of the MHT CET application fee. Applicants are required to print out the confirmation page for future reference. Candidates are recommended to preserve a copy of the application form safely until the admission process is finalised.

 

Mistakes to Avoid while Filling the MHT CET Application Form 2025

  • Do not choose MHT CET test cities far from your hometown or where you cannot make arrangements to stay easily.
  • Candidates must ensure that they pay the application fee for MHT CET 2025 successfully. If the fee is not paid successfully, the application will be rejected.
  • Enter the email ID and phone number correctly, as all the information/communication related to the exam will be sent to the same.

The Maharashtra CET cell offered the application form correction facility from March 10 to 12, 2025. To correct the submitted application form, the candidate needed to log in with the application number and password. The candidates could modify the subject group, insert a new subject group and modify the remaining details on the application form.
