- BCA/B.Sc (Computer Science/IT) or an equivalent degree with a minimum of 50% marks (45% marks for ST/SC).
- Bachelor's degree from a recognised university with a minimum mark of 50% (45% for SC/ST. The students have also studied Mathematics as a subject either at the 10+2 or graduation level.
Students enrolling in the program on this criterion will also be required to take and clear a compulsory bridge course named Foundations of Mathematics in addition to the MCA program.
