NEET Maharashtra Counselling 2025 will be released after the updates of the NEET 2025 retest scheduled. The exam was conducted on 4th May 2025 with approximately 21 lakh candidates appearing for the paper. The count went down by two lakhs for this year. The NEET Maharashtra 2025 counselling will be conducted by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) in an online mode. There are a total of 6,025 seats in the government MBBS category in Maharashtra, and out of these, 5,820 are allocated to private colleges. All will be filled through the NEET Maharashtra counselling 2025 process. The round 1 registration process is expected to begin July 21, 2025.

 

The last round of counselling, which involves the institute's reporting process, must be conducted in the physical presence of students. The seat allotment will be done after document verification and completion of the admission process. 5-6 rounds of the NEET Counselling 2025 for Maharashtra take place annually, and an extension may occur if seats remain vacant. NEET Maharashtra Counselling 2025 Highlights

The NEET Maharashtra 2025 counselling will be held in two divisions. The first is the 15 per cent All India Quota (AIQ) seats and 85 per cent state quota (SQ) seats. The MCC is the conducting agency for the AIQ seats counselling process. The state counselling authorities conduct the NEET state counselling process.

All government colleges offering MBBS programs in Maharashtra have a range of 100-250 seats, inclusive of all categories. B. J. Govt offers the highest seats. Medical College, Pune with 250 seats for MBBS. Students who sat for the NEET 2025 exam must be aware of the eligibility criteria for the Maharashtra NEET Counselling 2025. NEET Maharashtra Counselling Process 2025

Students must ensure to follow the proper steps of the counselling process to ensure their presence in the Maharashtra NEET Counselling 2025, which is as follows:

  • Students must have an eligible/minimum NEET score must register for the Maharashtra NEET Counselling 2025.
  • Students must submit their verified certificates and ensure this is done before the deadline ends.
