Every year, the Xavier School of Management (XLRI) Jamshedpur releases the XAT cutoff on the official website. Similarly, this year also, the XLRI will release the XAT 2025 cutoff on its official website after the announcement of results. Candidates need to meet the minimum cutoff scores in order to gain admission into management programmes. After the XAT 2025 results are announced, colleges accepting XAT scores will release their minimum cutoff scores based on candidates’ categories. Qualifying candidates who meet the minimum cutoff scores will proceed with further rounds of admission such as Group Discussion and Personal Interview rounds.
XAT 2025 Cutoff Determining Factors
The XAT 2025 cutoff will be determined by various determining factors. Some of the main determining factors are as mentioned below -
- XAT 2025 exam difficulty level - The XAT cutoff will be high if the question paper’s difficulty level is easy. Whereas, if the question paper’s difficulty level is higher, then the cutoff will be set lower.
- Total number participants - If the total number of participants is high which increases the competition as well as the cutoff scores.
- Total availability of seats - The total number of seats offered by an institute affects the determination of cutoff. More number of seats will result in low XAT 2025 cutoff scores.
- Reservation Policy - The seats which are reserved for backward category students usually have lower cutoff scores than general category students.

XAT 2025 Cutoff Percentile Calculator
There is a difference between raw score and XAT percentile. It is important for candidates to understand the difference between the XAT raw score & percentile. Qualifying candidates are invited for management admission on the basis of their overall percentile secured by them in the XAT 2025 exam. Check out the meaning & definition of raw score and percentile mentioned below -
- XAT Raw Score - This refers to the total marks secured by the candidate in the XAT test. For each correct and incorrect answer, +1 mark & -0.25 marks will be awarded & deducted, respectively.
- XAT Percentile - This refers to the percentage scored by the candidates below one candidate in the XAT exam. For instance, if a candidate has scored 90 percentile in XAT exam, it means that they have scored above 99% of other participants. The XAT percentile score usually refers to the method of analysing candidates’ performance in the exam.
