Central University of Himachal Pradesh, accredited and approved by NAAC (National Assessment and Accreditation Council) and AICTE (All India Council for Technical Education), offers over 45 courses across various disciplines, including Management, Science, Arts, Education, Technology and more.

The institute provides 7 UG and 23 PG programs, including several PG Diploma and certificate courses. The undergraduate courses include BA, B.Sc, B.Voc, B.Lib.I.Sc., and B.F.A., while the postgraduate courses include M.Sc, MA, MBA, M.Lib.I.Sc., MCA, and MSW. The duration for all undergraduate courses is 6 semesters, except for the B.F.A., which lasts 8 semesters. Most postgraduate (PG) courses are completed in four semesters.

Admissions are primarily based on merit, but for postgraduate courses, admissions depend on entrance exams (FEAT), which the Central University of Himachal Pradesh conducts.
