Admission: I really love the teachers at NSOJ. They have tons of experience in journalism, at least 10 years each. They are super helpful and caring. They know us all personally and never say no to helping, even at weird times. We got a lot of hands-on experience, spending most of our time in the field learning things for real.

Placement: I was super impressed with the placement rate at 99%! Companies like Your Story, Asianet, and Caravine came for placements. Most students even landed internships at top media outlets like TOI, The Hindu, and Indian Express. The average salary offered was 20K per month, with the highest stipend being 5K. Unfortunately, I don't know much about the placement cell, but overall, I was happy with how things turned out.

Campus: The college has a full Wi-Fi campus with smart classes and a top-notch newsroom and studio. The only downside is there's no canteen. The building isn't huge or fancy, but they've made good use of the space they have. They really make the most of what they've got.

Admission: The teachers at our college really go above and beyond to help us out. They not only teach us in class but also organize events for us. They give us extra info that's super helpful, both in and out of class. They're getting us ready for exams, both for university and public ones. Our professors are easy to talk to and they know their stuff. It's cool to see what our future careers might look like. NSOJ's way of teaching is hands-on, not just from textbooks. The curriculum is practical and gets us ready for the real world. The success of our alumni speaks volumes about the quality of education here.

Placement: The recent batch of PGDJ students at NSOJ all got jobs after graduating. During the course, we did internships at top newspapers, magazines, and media companies like Deccan Herald, TV9, and The Caravan. Now, many of our former classmates are working at big names like Times of India, The Hindu, and India Today. We're all pursuing journalism in different areas and doing well.

Campus: The college is pretty new, but it's got Wi-Fi and classrooms with whiteboards and projectors. Each of us has our own bench and we sit far enough apart for social distancing. The classrooms are big and airy. For my journalism course, there's lots of study material available. We even have a cool studio with all the gear we need to shoot, edit, and share our work. There's also a newsroom for group discussions. The auditorium has awesome lights and sound for events and talks. It's a great place to learn and create!

Admission: The professors and guest faculty here come from journalism and other areas. We get to chat with professionals in special talks and events, which helps us share ideas. Our lectures focus on students and cover more than just what's in our courses. We do a lot of hands-on learning by going out into the field for assignments. Working on stories for our news site, The Tannoy, helps us gain skills and real-world experience.

Placement: I'm from the PG batch of 2020 and our seniors are doing internships at cool places like Deccan Herald, The Hindu, New Indian Express, Republic TV, and India Today. Everyone gets placed, which is awesome. Our alumni are now working at places like The News Minute, CNBC-TV 18, and News X.

Campus: The campus has Wi-Fi, big classrooms, and even a newsroom for making videos and audios. We can go to the library to do research for our stories. There's an auditorium for indoor events and a quadrangle for outdoor stuff. We also have a canteen and sports area with equipment. The hostel is shared with Atria Institute of Technology students, but guys and girls have separate buildings. The hostel has Wi-Fi and a mess that serves veggie food every day, with meat twice a week.

Admission: The teachers at our college are awesome! They are really qualified and have lots of experience. It's not like there's a big divide between teachers and students here. We can easily talk to them. They want us to have a good bond with them. The college makes sure we learn both from books and real-life experiences. The things we study keep us updated on what's going on in the world. We're always learning something new.

Placement: The best thing about NSOJ is how they help you find a job. I'm in the PG'21 batch, and already a few of us got internships at Deccan Herald. It's cool because we get to intern before finishing the course. Plus, after we graduate, everyone in the PG Diploma course gets a guaranteed internship and maybe even a job offer from the same place. It's awesome to know that you could intern at big places like The Hindu, The Times of India, Republic TV, Asia Net, and more.

Campus: The campus has Wi-Fi everywhere. The classrooms are airy, and there's a studio and auditorium with great lighting and sound. They've set up seating for social distancing. There's also a newsroom for journalism students to practice in a real workspace.

Admission: Our professors and guest teachers really know their stuff and have hands-on experience. The college sets up talks and events where we can meet experts from various fields. It helps us learn more and see what their job is like. Even when we had to stay home because of the lockdown, our professors still taught us online. They made it feel like we were right there in class. We had around three online talks during the lockdown with people from different jobs. It was cool to chat with them, almost like a campus event.

Placement: I'm so impressed with our college's placement rate it's 100%! Our alumni get to intern and work at cool news places like Deccan Herald, The New Indian Express, The Hindu, Republic Tv, India Today, News X, CNBC-TV18, and more. Right now, students from our 2020 PG batch are interning at Deccan Herald, The Hindu, New Indian Express, India Today, and Republic Tv. It's awesome to see our peers getting such great opportunities!

Campus: The college has great Wi-Fi, a newsroom, video & audio studio, and an auditorium. There's also a psychology lab. Hostels are at opposite sides of the campus, with separate buildings for boys and girls. We share them with Atria Institute of Engineering students. There's a canteen and a shop on campus too.

Admission: The teachers here really know their stuff. They're super friendly, so you can always ask them questions without feeling awkward. The course layout is well-organized, so you end up learning more than just the basics. They don't just stick to theory they also make sure we get hands-on experience in class.

Placement: The college is great for PG Diploma students. They get awesome placements in top Indian companies like The Times of India, The Hindu, and Deccan Herald. Many alumni are now working in places like Deccan Herald and Republic TV. Basically, everyone gets placed, which is amazing!

Campus: The campus has Wi-Fi, a big newsroom for discussions, and classrooms that are roomy and have good air flow. Each student has their own spot. Social distancing is followed, and there's hand sanitiser in every room. Every classroom has a blackboard, whiteboard, and projector. There's also a studio for shooting, recording, and editing. And we have a quadrangle where we play games like badminton and have talks sometimes.

Admission: The teachers here really know their stuff and are super helpful. They're friendly, so you can ask them anything without feeling nervous. The college focuses more on hands-on learning than just lectures, which is great for getting practical experience. The classes are designed to make us into top-notch journalists.

Placement: The placements for PG Diploma students at our college are top-notch. They help us get internships and jobs at big news companies like The Times Of India, The Hindu, New Indian Express, and Deccan Herald. They focus on broadcast journalism too. Some of my batchmates from 2020 did internships at News X, Republic TV, and India Today. Everyone gets placed - it's 100%! Our alumni are now working at places like CNBC-TV 18, Asianet News, and News X.

Campus: The campus has Wi-Fi, big classrooms, and not too many students in one class. This gives us space to relax. There's a studio for projects, a nice library, and a cool auditorium for events. We get to play sports every week, which is fun. We have indoor games, outdoor games, and team sports. And there's places to play basketball, badminton, and table tennis. Plus, the canteen serves yummy and clean food.

Admission: Our main teacher had worked at The Hindu for a long time and shared really cool stories with us. The other teachers were nice too. It would've been great to have different teachers for broadcast journalism.

Placement: I'm interning at The Better India, a well-known digital news platform. Two of my friends are interning at Deccan Herald. The companies that hire a lot from our college are IDG, Deccan Herald, The Hindu, The Indian Express, and Outlook Business.

Campus: The print journalism resources are great, but the broadcast journalism studio could use some better equipment. The campus has lots of room to move around, and the classrooms are nice and airy. They should definitely update the boards on the basketball court though.

Admission: The journalism course here is great! It's very practical and teaches us everything we need to know. We start from the basics like writing, reporting, editing, and more. The teachers have lots of experience in the field. They're really good at what they do. We also learn about broadcast journalism, which is cool. This year, we're learning about multimedia journalism too. It's fun to write stories online in a creative way.

Placement: The job placements at our college are awesome! Our ex-students are working in big media companies all over India. Just last year, two students landed internships at Deccan Herald even before finishing their course. And by the time we graduate, we're pretty much guaranteed internships that often turn into job offers at places like The Hindu, The Times of India, and other top media outlets. It's great to know we have such good opportunities waiting for us after graduation.

Campus: I really like the college facilities here. The classrooms are big and have everything we need. The Wi-Fi is good for doing research online. The hostel is nice and the food is clean. It would be great to have more food choices though. We get to play sports even though we're busy. The sports day is super fun every year. Having a hospital nearby is handy for emergencies. Overall, it's a good place to study and live.

Admission: I go to BCU. Exams don't follow a strict structure. Teachers are always leaving, so there's no stability in the faculty. The old teachers like Baba Prasad, Godwin Emmanuel, and Vinusha Kannan were good, but they're not around now. We mostly have to figure things out on our own.

Placement: The campus placements aren't great here. Most people only get jobs because of connections with professors. Some students, like Atul Ranjan from NDTV and Udbhavu Balakrishnan from Deccan Herald, are doing super well in their careers. But others end up switching fields or going to different universities for better job opportunities.

Campus: I didn't like that there's no hostel. The campus is new but not great the tin roof and walls fall when it rains. It's in a weird location, between a farm and a graveyard on an old highway. The restrooms are poorly managed and leak water. It can feel worse than rural government schools sometimes.
