MVN University SOET Placement Policy

Given below are the basic placement policy followed by the MVN Univeristy CRC (Corporate Resource Centre). Students must adhere the placement policy, it can be also called as the eligibility for the placements.

  • Students who have a total percentage of >50% shall be eligible for the pre final placement offer.
  • Only those who have fulfilled the minimum attendance criteria will be eligible for the placements
  • Placements shall be provided to those who have never been reported for any disciplinary actions.

 

Discipline during the Placement Process

  • Behavior – Students must follow strict discipline during the entire recruitment process. Anyone found misbehaving or showing improper conduct will not be allowed to take part in placements for the whole season.
  • Language – Students should use proper and respectful language during interviews. Casual chatting with other candidates or making remarks towards company representatives, either during or after the process, is strictly not allowed.
  • Dress Code – Students must wear the official dress code set by the University for placements. Anyone not following the dress code will not be permitted to attend the placement process.
  • Attendance – Students have to attend all rounds of the selection process for the companies they register with, such as PPTs, online tests, group discussions, and interviews.

 

MVN University SOET Placement Process

1. Consent for Placements: Students need to confirm whether they want to sit for the placements or not a the start of the final year. When the academic session begins, a form will be provided to them. This applies only to final-year students.

 

2. Eligibility for Campus Placements: After registering for placements, the Corporate Resource Centre (CRC) will check if students are eligible as per the placement policy or not.

 

3. Job Application: The CRC will share placement notices from time to time. Students need to apply for the job opportunities before the provided deadline.

 

4. Attending Interview: If shortlisted by a company, CRC will share the interview schedule with the students. They must come in proper dress and attend the full interview process with discipline.

 

5. Selection: If a student clears the company’s interview rounds, they will be selected for the job.

 

6. Joining: The joining date is decided by the company and can depend on the market conditions. Students must join on time as per the company’s instructions, but they also need to finish their program requirements. Sometimes, companies may ask for early joining; in such cases, it must be reported to the CRC, placement office, HOD, and Dean.

 

7. Offer Letter Submission: After the placement drive, companies send the list of selected students to the CRC. Students will be informed by email. All selected students must submit their offer letter or selection email from the company to CRC at placements@mvn.edu.in
