Shikshan Mahavidyalaya, Nagaon, established in 1968, is the only government B.Ed. training college in Nagaon district, Assam. Affiliated to Gauhati University and accredited by NCTE, it offers the Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) and Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.) programs. The college typically opens admissions in June–July every year, with a total B.Ed. fee of INR 13,000 and D.El.Ed. fee of INR 52,000. Intake is merit-based, with ~100–120 seats for B.Ed. and a smaller D.El.Ed. batch. Application is offline, with forms available at the college office.

Shikshan Mahavidyalaya Admission Deadlines

Admissions for B.Ed. and D.El.Ed. at Shikshan Mahavidyalaya generally open in June–July each year, with the application window lasting around 3–4 weeks.
