Admission: The teachers at our college are awesome! They know their stuff and have real-world experience. We've got retired Captains and officers from the IAF teaching us, which is pretty cool. The course content is spot on and the exams are not too hard. Overall, the teaching is top-notch.

Placement: Around 60% of us in our batch landed jobs after college. Our college gets visits from airport companies looking to hire students. About half of us got internships, and we're happy with them. The highest salary offered was 5 LPA, with the lowest being 2 LPA.

Campus: The college has good facilities and infrastructure. The classrooms are big and there's a projector for videos. The Wi-Fi is fast. Food in the canteen is decent and clean. Plus, they have a medical kit and first aid box.

Admission: The teachers at Amlani College are really knowledgeable and teach based on their experience. However, the infrastructure isn't great - no Wi-Fi or AC. The campus has a library, computer lab, and canteen, but that's about it. They don't have sports or vacation time.

Placement: I didn't get placed in any airlines after completing the course. To be eligible, you need to score at least 50% in 10+2 with physics and maths as your main subjects. The course lasts for 2 years for B.Sc and 3 years for aeronautics. Job training takes place at DHULE airport for 6 months, and it's affiliated with Mumbai University.

Campus: The college doesn't have Wi-Fi or a campus. It's got computer labs, a library, and a canteen with decent food at a good price. There's no AC, sports, games, or vacation, though. Food's alright overall.

Admission: The teachers are really helpful and know a lot. Some teachers could be more experienced, though. This course is for people who want to be aircraft maintenance engineers. If you're not interested in that, it's not really useful because it's just a certification. It's a good idea to also do a B.Sc in aeronautics at the same time. In 3 years, you can get a degree and a certification. After the course, you can do your training either at the college or at another airline. Air India offers training to beginners. The semester exams are tough, you need to get at least 75% to pass. You have to pass semesters and 17 DGCA papers. The fee is Rs. 1,500.

Placement: Around 20 out of 30 of us landed jobs after finishing our batch. We had a section called Avionics for aircraft maintenance engineering, and two sections for mechanical aircraft maintenance engineering. The course lasts 3 years with 5 semesters and a 6-month OJT (On Job Training). Once you finish, you can work as a trainee technician at an airline. The starting pay can be as low as Rs. 8,000 per month, but it depends on the airline.

Campus: During my time at college, it used to be at Juhu Aerodrome. But now, it's moved to Avionne building near Nanavati Hospital. Sadly, there's no Wi-Fi for students. The labs are great, they're like shops where we learn about radio systems, aircraft parts, and more. The library has lots of books for studying. Classrooms are nice with AC, whiteboards, and projectors. No hostel though. Canteen food is okay, with stuff like samosa pav, Vada pav, noodles, and more. Canteen is clean. Each shop has first aid too.

Admission: Most teachers here aren't that great at teaching, except for maybe 1 or 2. They tend to skip some topics in the B.Sc course. The pass rate for A.M.E exams is 75% but for B.Sc, it's only 40%. Sometimes they use projectors to teach.

Placement: After finishing the course, there are no job placements given, which is a downside. You'll have to look for job openings on your own. Some seniors got training at Air India, and a few are heading to GoAir. The best roles I've noticed are mostly for junior technicians.

Campus: I go to a college without its own campus. It's located inside another college that runs classes in the afternoon. There's no air conditioning, no sports day, and the labs need a major update. Other colleges have better lab facilities.

Admission: The teachers here are awesome! They have a really great instructor for the technical stuff who knows a lot about it. They also help out with anything related to aviation and support us during our B.Sc. exams.

Placement: A lot of BFC grads end up at AIR INDIA. They tell you about it in classes and even joke that BFC must have a deal with Air India since so many students end up there.

Campus: The college building is right across from Juhu Airport, and there are some nice hostels nearby. The ground classes at Bombay Flying Club don't have hostels, but they do give you a list of good ones nearby.

Admission: The teachers are really experienced in the airline industry. They use projectors and videos which make learning fun. We got to visit cool places like Air India, JET Airways, and more. We even got to work with different airlines. The course is great for anyone interested in aviation.

Placement: The college really helps with getting jobs after graduation. The teachers used to work for airlines and the air force. Most students now have jobs with airlines and MROs in India and other countries. We also got to do apprenticeships with airlines.

Campus: The college has good infrastructure with projectors and useful equipment for teaching. Classrooms are air-conditioned, and there are computer labs and practical labs for hands-on training. The class sizes are small, so teachers can give attention to each student. We got to experience real aircraft at Dhule and other airlines. Every year, we have sports events and aeronautical projects to motivate us. The canteen on campus is pretty good too!

Admission: The faculty at this college is top-notch. They really know their stuff and are super helpful in preparing us for the DGCA exams. The instructors have real experience in aviation, so they know what they're talking about. It's great to learn from people who have been in the industry.

Placement: The college doesn't give specific placement numbers, but they really prepare you well for jobs in airlines and chartered companies. They teach you everything you need to know for a successful career in aviation. You'll learn about interviews and the behind-the-scenes of the industry. Plus, they help you find a job with their great connections.

Campus: The college's infrastructure is okay. It's not super fancy, but it's good enough for learning. The best part is the instructors they're really awesome and you can rely on them. The campus has decent classrooms, sports facilities, and a nice canteen.

Admission: The teachers at this college are really knowledgeable and have a lot of experience in aviation. They are great at teaching and make sure we understand everything. Most of them have worked in big airlines or the airforce, which is cool. They use digital projectors to help us learn better.

Placement: At our college, we don't have any placement support. After finishing the three-year AME course, we need to pass the DGCA module exams to land a job. Passing these exams is crucial for obtaining the BEMAC license, which certifies you as an AME. If you can't pass the exam, you might end up working as a technician instead.

Campus: The college has a great setup. Each classroom is equipped with 2-3 A/Cs, and they even have their own Learjet Aircraft for training. They also have a maintenance hangar for different aircraft. Plus, there's a library with lots of aviation books.

Admission: The instructors for all four DGCA subjects are really experienced. They don't just teach the whole class but also help you personally with any questions you have. I really look up to these instructors and feel lucky to have them guiding me. They not only teach the subjects but also show us the way in this exciting industry. If you work hard, you can definitely pass all your DGCA exams with their help.

Placement: I'm taking the CPL course at Bombay Flying Club. Each batch has around 40-45 students, and there are two batches running. There are no direct placements, but the instructors are great at preparing us for jobs in top airlines like Air India and Indigo. They help us reach our full potential. I've heard that many students from our institute have landed jobs in big airlines.

Campus: The CPL ground classes at this college may not have a huge campus like in movies, but it's a great place for student pilots. The classrooms have smart boards, whiteboards, projectors, and you can see the Juhu Airport from there. It's cool to watch small planes land and take off. They don't offer hostel facilities for ground classes, but I think they have one in Dhule for flying training.
