1. Merit-Based Admissions

Application Process:

• Collect the application form from centers approved or from the DDE office from where the application form is issued against the valid fee.
• Alternatively, the application form can be directly downloaded from the official Bangalore University site and the application fees can also be remitted through Internet mode.

Selection Process:

• It follows that the admissions are awarded on the basis of the candidate’s performance in the qualifying examination i.e. 10+2.
• UG distance education programs do not require an entrance examination.
• It becomes a rule after the first shortlisting that candidates need to come to the respective DDE office for document verification for their admission.

2. Counseling and Seat Allotment

• The DDE does not go through official counseling to provide the seat allocation for the UG programs.
• Admissions to these seats are restricted and then are determined according to their performance and the number of available seats in those particular courses.

1. Merit-Based Admissions

Application Process:

• The application can be downloaded from the Bangalore One Centres or from the State Bank Of India after making the application fee of Rs 750/- Only.
• Alternatively one can download the application form from the official website of Bangalore University.
• Complete the form and enclose the required papers along with the application form.
• Enclose this with the filled-up application and a Demand Draft of INR 750 paid towards the application fee in favor of ‘Finance Officer, Bangalore University’ payable at Bangalore, to the above-mentioned Directorate’s office.

Selection Process:

• The admission is given strictly according to the percentage secured in the qualifying examination i.e., the 10+2 system.
• Another important note, therefore, that is actively and clearly stated, is that there is no entrance examination for diploma courses under the DDE.
• However, the final list is an open list that allows the candidates to produce some documents to verify the accuracy of the information provided by them.

2. Counseling and Seat Allocation

• The DDE has no independent counseling process for the distribution of seats in diploma courses.
• Preference is also given to merit and the number of seats available is also considered when issuing out the seats.

1. Merit-Based Admissions

Selection Process:

• Application: Place seats with signed application form and the documents that are required.
• Evaluation: According to marks scored in the qualifying examination the admissions are decided.
• Document Verification: Selection is based on the certification of original supporting documents at Bangalore University, DDE.

2. Entrance Exam-Based Admissions

Selection Process:
