DBS - Important Residency Terms and Conditions

Accommodation agreements cover the academic year up to 30th May 2026 or a day before classes start for the next year, with a provision for staying up to 3 days after the last exams or academic closure, whichever is earlier. The annual contract is mandatory for full-year stay. No refunds are provided for early withdrawal or voluntary termination, except in cases of university rustication. Students are not permitted to stay in hostel accommodations during vacation periods exceeding 15 days.

DBS - Refund Policy

There is no refund of accommodation fees except when a student is rusticated by the university. In cases of suspension, voluntary withdrawal, or mid-year departure, accommodation charges are non-refundable. However, food charges paid in advance are refundable on a prorated basis for the 10-month period if a student leaves permanently.

DBS - Safety and Security Measures

Hostel safety is a priority, with strict access control, ongoing maintenance, and regulations to ensure a secure living environment. Students must vacate rooms for periodic maintenance and summer program use, though storage of belongings may be allowed with prior permission. Full-time security personnel and surveillance systems monitor the premises to maintain safety standards.

DBS - Medical and Health Support

The campus provides health support facilities including access to medical care during residency. While specific medical service details are not listed here, students can expect emergency support and health assistance aligned with academic schedules and residency terms.

DBS - Additional Facilities

Alongside accommodation and mess services, students have access to recreational and essential amenities that support campus life. These include provision for laundry, Wi-Fi connectivity, and other conveniences necessary for day-to-day student living, though detailed listings are subject to availability and final arrangements.
