IIM Nagpur Admissions 2025: Courses, Fees, Dates, Eligibility & Application Process

IIM Nagpur, established in 2015 under the mentorship of IIM Ahmedabad, is one of India's fastest-growing business schools. The institute offers a two-year MBA (Postgraduate Program) program, an Executive MBA program, and a PhD program. Admission to IIM Nagpur’s MBA program is based on CAT 2024 scores, followed by the Common Admission Process (CAP), including a Personal Interview (PI). For General category candidates, the expected CAT cutoff is around 94 percentile, with sectional cutoffs of the 73rd percentile. The total fee for the MBA program is approximately INR 21 lakh.

CAT 2025 registration started on 1 August, 2025, (10:00 AM), and the window will remain open until 13 September, 2025, (till 5:00 PM). Candidates will be able to download their admit cards between 5 November and 30 November, 2025. The exam is scheduled to be conducted on 30 November 2025. The results are expected to be declared in the first week of January 2026. The CAT registration fee has been increased to INR 2,600 for General category candidates and INR 1,300 for SC, ST, and PwD candidates.

IIM Nagpur MBA Admissions 2025

The Indian Institute of Management, Nagpur, offers a full-time residential MBA/ flagship PGP program with a duration of 2 years. The batch size for the academic session 2025-27 is 360 students. The admission procedure for the MBA flagship course is a three-stage process.

The institute follows a reservation policy to allot seats to the students. The following table consists of category-wise reservations and seats available:

• According to IIM Nagpur’s MBA eligibility criteria, applicants must hold a bachelor's degree with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks and possess a valid CAT score.
• Candidates are shortlisted for the PI and WAT (Written Aptitude Test) based on their past academic and CAT scores.
• The final selection for the MBA will be based on a merit list prepared by the institute. The basis of merit lists is CAT scores, PI Score, WAT Score, Academic Performance Score, Work Experience Rating, and Gender Diversity.

IIM Nagpur MBA Executives Admissions 2025

The Indian Institute of Management offers an executive MBA (hybrid) program at Nagpur & Pune campuses.

• To be eligible for the MBA Ex program, applicants must hold a bachelor's degree with a minimum of 50% marks in any discipline.
• Candidates with professional degrees, i.e., CA/ CMA/ CS, with a minimum of 50% can also apply.
• Applicants must also have at least 3 years of full-time professional/ managerial/entrepreneurial experience as of 1st January 2025.
• Eligible candidates will have to appear for IIMNAT. After which, candidates will be called for a personal interview.
• The final admission list will be prepared based on candidates' academic performances, IIMNAT scores, and PI performance.

IIM Nagpur offers a full-time Ph.D program with a duration of 4 years. The initial two years of coursework and the latter two years will be devoted to thesis work.

Indian Institute of Management offers a Doctoral program in Management for the working business executives. The course duration is 4 to 6years. In which, the first 6 months will be coursework, and the remaining duration will be a comprehensive assessment and thesis work.

To be eligible, applicants must have any one of the following

• A 4-year bachelor's degree (BE/ BTech/ BPharma) with 60% marks or equivalent.
• Master's degree with a minimum of 55% marks or equivalent.
• MBBS/ B.Arch or any other 5-year degree with 55% aggregate marks.

Key Guidelines:

• You can complete the form in multiple sessions — your progress will be saved automatically.
• Review all details carefully before submitting the application fee. No changes are allowed after payment.
• Incorrect or incomplete forms may be rejected.
• SC/ST/PwD candidates must upload valid certificates. Category changes cannot be made after registration.
• A short correction window will be available after registration closes for a limited time only.
