RKGIT Admission 2025: Dates,Eligibility, Application Process, Selection Criteria

RKGIT admission is ongoing for various courses. To secure a seat in various courses of RKGIT, candidates can either apply through all India entrance examinations like JEE Mains and CUET followed by UPTAC Counselling or by Direct admission through management quota. The college offers admission to courses like B.Tech, B.Pharma, BBA, BCA, MBA, MCA, M.Tech, M.Pharma & D.Pharm.The B.Tech program is offered in 11 specializations, such as - Civil Engineering, Computer Science Engineering (General, Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning, Data Science, Internet of Things), Information Technology, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics & Computer Engineering, Computer Science. M.Tech is offered only in Electronics & Communication Engineering. M.Pharm is offered in Pharmaceutics & Pharmacology.

RKGIT Admission 2025 – Important Dates

Raj Kumar Goel Institute of Technology (RKGIT) has completed the JEE Main 2025 Session 2 exams, and the results are expected to be declared on April 17, 2025. The UPTAC Counselling 2024 Special Round for BTech admissions has also concluded. For undergraduate admissions, the CUET UG 2025 exam is scheduled to be held between May 8 and June 1, 2025. Meanwhile, the CUET PG 2025 results are anticipated to be released in the third week of April 2025.

RKGIT UG Admission 

At the undergraduate level the institute serves a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) comprising 11 specializations with a duration of four years. Candidates seeking admission can either take direct admission through management quota based on their academic merit or can appear for the JEE Mains followed by UPTAC.

RKGIT PG Courses

RKGIT offers a 2-year M.Tech program with an intake of 9 seats. Candidates must have a B.E./B.Tech degree with 50% aggregate marks. Admission is based on merit in the qualifying degree, emphasizing academic performance rather than entrance test scores.

RKGIT Pharmacy & Diploma (PFD) Courses

RKGIT offers a Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharm) under its Pharmacy & Diploma (PFD) courses.
The program has an intake of 60 seats and a duration of 2 years.
Eligibility requires passing 10+2 in any relevant stream.

RKGIT Admission Process

Students can take admission in various courses of RKGIT either through attempting the JEE Mains Examination which is further followed by UPTAC or through Direct Admission. Students can check the detailed admission process below: 

Through JEE Mains (For B.Tech Admission)

• Candidates have to first apply for JEE Mains Examination on its official website: jeemain.nta.nic.in.
• It is advised to read all the instructions carefully before applying for JEE to avoid any future disruption.once the candidate has gone through all the instructions,He/She has to fill in the personal details required.
• After the details are filled and submitted,Candidates are advised to take the print of the filled form.
• On the JEE Mains Exam Date, candidates have to sit in the exam at the designated exam center.
• Wait for the JEE Mains result, Once the JEE Mains result is out, Candidates have to appear for UPTAC Counseling by AKTU and have to pay the counseling fees of INR 1000. 
• Applicants have to fill the choice at uptac.admissions.nic.in.
• Candidates have to provide their JEE Main application number and password to complete UPTAC counseling 2023 choice filling.
• At the time of choice filling of UPTAC, applicants have to enter preferred choices of colleges and courses in the form. 
• After that, the exam authority declares the UPTAC seat allotment result based on choices filled by candidates only.
• Once RKGIT is allotted, He/She can apply for the college admission form & pay the admission fees.

Through CUET UG (For B.Pharm)

• For B.Pharm admission, students have to apply for CUET UG examination on the official website: https://exams.nta.ac.in/CUET-UG/. 
• When the registration has been accepted, the application fees are to be paid.
• For additional use, applicants can keep a printed copy or the digital copy of the application form.
• On the CUET UG Exam Date, candidates have to sit in the exam at the designated exam center.
• Wait for the CUET UG result, once the CUET UG result is out, candidates have to appear for UPTAC Counseling by AKTU and have to pay the counseling fees of INR 1000. 
• At the time of choice filling of UPTAC, applicants have to enter preferred choices of colleges in the form.

Through CUET PG (For MBA & MCA ) 

• Aspiring MBA & MCA students have to first apply for CUET PG examination on the official website: https://pgcuet.samarth.ac.in/.
• After the registration is accepted, candidates have to pay the application fee.
• On the CUET PG Exam Date, candidates have to sit in the exam at the designated exam center.
• Once the CUET result is out, candidates have to appear for UPTAC counseling by AKTU and have to pay the counseling fees of INR 1000. 
• At the time of choice filling of UPTAC, applicants have to enter preferred choices of colleges and courses in the form.

Direct Admission for All Courses

• Candidates can also apply for direct admission based on their class 12th marks.
• The admission process can be done either by applying through the official website or by visiting the Campus directly and paying the application fees.
• Candidates are also required to pay the University fees along with application fees during the time of admission.
