IT Kottayam has undergraduate programs in B.Tech (4 years) and B.Arch (5 years). Regular mode of the software is available. Candidates must take the Engineering Entrance Examination, also known as the Kerala Engineering Agriculture Medical Degree or KEAM, administered by the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations of the Government of Kerala to get admission to the B.Tech program. Through the National Aptitude Test in Architecture, or NATA, applicants are admitted to the B.Arch program. Program selection will take into account both the admission test results and the KEAM/NATA grades. In order to do so, candidates must engage in KEAM counselling. There will be six extra seats in each specialisation set aside for Lateral Entry applicants starting in the second year of the B.Tech program. Candidates must have finished a diploma program in the field in question.
