SRMCEM: Admissions and Application Process 2025
Shri Ramswaroop Memorial College of Engineering and Management admissions to all its courses are held as per the rules and regulations of its parent university, Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU). The admissions are made based on entrance tests and UPTAC counselling, without any direct admission based on merit in any course. Admissions to the BTech course depend upon scores obtained in JEE Main, followed by counselling from AKTU. The DPharm course depends on JEECUP scores for admission. In MTech courses, the admissions require scores obtained in GATE and the seat intake for all specializations is 9. The admission to other postgraduate courses, excluding BTech, depends upon CUET UG scores, and all other undergraduate courses' admissions depend upon CUET PG scores. The college also provides lateral entry admissions to the second year for BTech, BPharm, and MCA courses, with more than 10% of the previous year's sanctioned intake reserved for these lateral entry students. However, lateral entry admissions are not available for any other courses. SRMCEM reserves 85% of the seats for UPTAC counselling, while the remaining 15% are reserved under the Management Quota or for NRI students. Also, 5% seats in BTech, BPharm, MBA and MCA programmes shall also be available as free as fee seats for the more competent yet economically weaker sections.
