The placement cell at United University is a pivotal department for students as its primary aim is to achieve graduate employability. The university has secured diverse and numerous recruitments of students including graduates owing to the impressive rate of placement over the years. In the last ten years, United University has placed most of its graduates in infosys than any other university, an indicator of the strong relationship that the university has with the industry and the dedication to making its students' employable. The placement cell is not restricted to immediate job placement drives but also takes a broader view and provides focused assistance for higher studies, including helping students who wish to go to the advanced levels of education in countries like the USA, UK, Australia, and Singapore.
In order to boost chances of employment, the university requires industrial training and site visits for all the students who have enrolled to the university so that they acquire some practical skill in that field besides their academics. For example, a few days before graduation, the students are made to undergo intensive training programs and practice real interviews in order to be ready for the real world. The university has the largest online test center in the state-Uttar Pradesh-in collaboration with TCS-ion, which helps in conducting internal assessments to the students within the shortest time possible. Also recruitment drives in association with Infosys are conducted at the university as well as outside the university premises. Along with Tata Consultancies Service, the university has teamed up with EMC2, a business listed as Fortune 500, so as to honour its objectives in the educational sector and being a member of the business world. United University is also the most prominent center of joint campus placement drives in the eastern part of the state of Uttar Pradesh and there is a sustained alumni network to help in the secondary placements thanks to this. United University believes in the principles of creating an environment conducive to student performance and improving the chances of employment in the job market and thus has put in place all these strategies.
