BA Arabic Eligibility Criteria

  • The candidates must have passed 10+2 or equivalent from a recognized board or institution in any stream (Arts, Commerce, or Science).
  • A minimum of 45% to 50% aggregate marks in the qualifying exam is the requirement of most institutions.
  • Relaxation of 5% in marks is generally granted to candidates belonging to the reserved category (SC/ST/OBC), i.e., they might require 40% to 45% aggregate marks.
  • The admission is either merit-based (based on marks in Class 12) or entrance-based, depending on the university. Some universities take entrance tests or CUET-UG (Common University Entrance Test – Undergraduate) into account.
  • No rigid age restriction applies, but applicants must have passed their higher secondary levels at the time of admission.
