LLB Hons Exam Pattern

The Year LLB Hons course at NLSIU, Bangalore, is based on a semester examination scheme in which assessment of each subject is done on a mixture of internal assessment and end-semester exams. As a general rule, the semester-end written examination, comprising 70 percent of the total number of marks, normally includes the whole syllabus of that subject.

 

The rest (30 percent) is comprised in the internal evaluation, such as class participation, assignments, presentations, research papers, and projects. This moderated assessment technique is meant to provide equal criteria in assessing the student, both during coursework and at the end of the program, in mastering the subjects.
