MPT Pediatrics Admission Process 2025

In most Indian universities, admissions to the MTP Pediatrics course is done via entrance exams, and the admission procedure often involves rigorous and structured counseling. This procedure has been moved online at most Indian colleges in the last decade, and at SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Tamil Nadu, it consists of the following steps:

 

Step 1: Candidates must register at the Institute’s official admission portal to apply for the MPT Pediatrics course and appear for the SRMJEEH PG entrance exam. The link to register is https://applications.srmist.edu.in/hspg.

 

Step 2: To register, candidates must enter all the basic details asked on the registration portal and must verify the mobile number provided by them. Once done, click on “register”.

 

Step 3: A unique profile of the candidate will be created on the SRM’s admission portal and the login credentials would be mailed to him/her via his/her registered email address.

 

Step 4: The candidate can use the login credentials to access his/her profile on the portal. After logging in, proceed to fill the application form.

 

Step 5: Provide the relevant academic and personal details requested in the form and upload the relevant documents in the format mentioned in the form.

 

Step 6: Pay the non-refundable registration fee, costing INR 1,200 online and submit the form to the institute.

 

Step 7: The candidate must then appear for the SRMJEEH PG admission exam, the updates regarding the schedule of the same is mailed to the candidate and he/she can also check it on the institute’s admission portal. The exam is conducted online.

 

Step 8: The result for the SRMJEEH PG exam would be published in the form of merit lists by the Institute. This merit list will contain the scores and ranks of the candidates who appeared for the exam.

 

Step 9: The institute will then review all the applications received for the course and will shortlist candidates on the basis of a combination of their bachelor and entrance scores.

 

Step 10: If shortlisted, candidates are required to participate in the counselling process. In this, he/she is required to select the exact campus from where he/she wants to pursue the course from and must also confirm the specialization of the chosen course. Step 11: If the desired seat is allocated to the candidate, he/she receives an allotment letter and is required to visit the campus for physical document verification and to complete basic formalities to confirm a seat in the course.
