CBSE Class 12 Eligibility 2026

Candidates who will apply for the CBSE class 12 board exam, must meet the eligibility requirements set by the Central Board of Secondary Education. Only those candidates who fulfil the CBSE Class 12 Eligibility Criteria 2026 listed below can appear for the exam:

  • CBSE sets no specific age limit for class 12 examination. However, the minimum age of the candidate should be 17 years.

CBSE Class 12 Registration Fee 2026 Payment Mode

Regular students can pay the CBSE 12th Registration Fee to their respective schools before the deadline. However, private students need to pay the CBSE Class 12 Registration Fee 2026 online via Net Banking/ Debit Card/ Credit Card. Fees payment through Demand Draft, PO, MO, or cheque will not be accepted under any circumstances. Those regular students who fail to pay the application fees, their school will not register their name in the LOC form and hence, they won’t be able to give the final board exam. Similarly, private students who do not pay the fees will not be able to appear for the final Class 12 exam as their application form will not be accepted.
