Students will be considered to pass the CBSE class 12 board exams if they meet the passing criteria given below:

  • The student should obtain a grade higher than ‘E’, which is at least 33% in all the five subjects of the board exam in the main or the compartmental exams.
  • Students should obtain 33% marks in the theory exam and 33% marks in the practical exam. Other than that, the student should have obtained at least 33% marks in total in the examination.
