CUET Eligibility Criteria 2025 stated the minimum requirements candidates had to fulfil to attempt the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) and apply for undergraduate courses at participating universities.

 

The NTA requires Indian candidates to have completed class 12th or be yet to take their class 12th board exams in a recognised educational board. Additionally, candidates must have scored at least 50% by general category applicants and 45% by reserved category applicants.

 

There is no upper age limit, allowing candidates to attempt CUET till they meet their eligibility criteria. International candidates can also apply if they hold permanent residency in India. Only eligible candidates are permitted to fill out the CUET Application Form 2025.

Central Universities

Central universities, such as the University of Delhi and Banaras Hindu University, require candidates to have a minimum of 50% marks and a specific combination of subjects for the chosen course.
