How is the MICAT 2027 Score Calculated?

For the Aptitude Test, the objective score can be calculated as:

For example, if a candidate answers 50 questions, with 40 correct and 10 incorrect, then his score will be:

Score = (40 × 1) − (10 × 0.25) = 37.5 marks

The Descriptive Test is evaluated separately because it consists of subjective responses. The Psychometric Test must be cleared but does not contribute marks to the MICAT score.

Note: MICA does not publish a detailed fixed marks allocation for every descriptive response or a comprehensive official question-wise pattern. Therefore, the section-wise question counts and objective marking details above should be treated as the current MICAT format rather than a permanently fixed official blueprint.
