CUET UG 2025 application form will be available soon. Registration is expected to begin in the first week of February 2025 on the official website, cuetug.ntaonline.in. The application process will be done entirely online. Before filling out the form, candidates should check the CUET 2025 eligibility rules. The application fee for CUET 2025 will depend on the candidate's category, the number of subjects chosen, and the exam city. The cost can be paid using a Credit/Debit Card, Net Banking, or UPI.

 

Last year, the CUET UG application fee for selecting up to three subjects was INR 1000 for General/UR candidates, INR 900 for OBC-NCL/ EWS, INR 800 for SC/ ST/ PwBD/ Third gender, and INR 4500 for candidates outside India. In CUET UG 2024, the most registrations came from Uttar Pradesh (3,43,067), followed by Delhi (1,44,406). The exam subjects and the mode of examination for CUET UG 2025 will be announced after registration.

 

CUET UG 2025 will take place in May/ June 2025 in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode. The exam will be conducted in 37 states and Union Territories in India and 24 countries outside India. The official CUET 2025 notification will be released soon on the NTA website, exams.nta.ac.in.

CUET UG 2025 Eligibility

Candidates must check the eligibility criteria to apply and appear for CUET UG. NTA prescribes the eligibility given below:

Nationality

Open to students from both India and outside India. Last year, the exam was held in 354 Indian cities and 26 cities outside India.

Age Limit

No age limit is set by NTA. Candidates should check the age limit of the universities they wish to apply to.

Academic Qualifications

Candidates must have cleared class 10+2 or equivalent from a recognized board. Final-year students are also eligible.

List of Qualifying Examinations

1. Passed class 10+2 or equivalent from recognized boards (CBSE, ICSE, ISC, NIOS, State Boards).

 

2. Cleared Intermediate or two-year pre-University certification exam from a recognized board.

 

3. Cleared Joint Services Wing of NDA's final examination or two-year curriculum.

 

4. Passed NIOS’s senior secondary exam with at least five subjects.

 

5. Passed exams from institutions/boards/universities accredited by AIU or 10+2 system.

 

6. Higher Secondary Certificate of Vocational Studies.

 

7. Technical degree education of at least 3 years (AICTE or state board-accredited).

 

8. General Certificate Education (GCE) at Advanced (A) level from London, Cambridge, or Sri Lanka.

 

9. Appeared in Cambridge University or International Baccalaureate Diploma exams.

CUET UG 2025 registration will only be available through online mode. Candidates can apply by visiting the official NTA CUET website (exams.nta.ac.in or cuetug.ntaonline.in). The application process is fully online, and there is no offline option. Make sure to fill in all required details accurately and submit the form before the deadline.

 

CUET UG 2025 Application Process

Step 1: Registration

 

To begin the application process, candidates must visit the official CUET UG website (cuetug.ntaonline.in) and click on the ‘New Candidate Registration Here’ link. It is essential to read the instructions carefully before starting the registration.

 

Personal and Contact Details:Candidates must enter the following details to create login credentials:

  • Candidate’s Name
  • Father’s Name
  • Mother’s Name
  • Guardian’s Name
  • Date of Birth (from the drop-down box)
  • Gender
  • Nationality
  • Type of Photo Identity Card (Select from options)
  • Identity Card Number
  • Present and Permanent Address
  • Email ID
  • Mobile Number (with an alternate contact number)
  • Choose Password (8-13 characters with one special character, one uppercase, one lowercase, and one numeric character)
  • Select a Security Question and Answer
  • Enter Security Pin
  • Verify the details entered
  • Enter OTP sent to the mobile number

Once the registration is successful, candidates will receive a username and password on their registered email ID and via SMS.

 

Step 2: Application Form Details

 

After successful registration, candidates need to proceed with the application form where additional details need to be filled in:

 

1. Personal Details:These details are fetched from the registration form. Additional details include:

  • Confirmation of PwBD category
  • Parent’s qualifications
  • Parent’s occupation
  • Annual family income
  • Confirmation of being a twin
  • Domicile state
  • Confirmation of being diabetic
  • Mode of preparation
  • Medium of study in qualifying education
  • Other category information like BPL, Kashmiri Migrant, Ward of Defence Personnel/Ex-Servicemen, NCC Quota, Sports Quota, etc.

2. Educational Details:In this section, candidates need to enter information about their Class 10 and Class 12 or equivalent exams:

  • Result Status (Passed/Appeared)
  • Passing Year
  • Qualifying Examination (Board Name, School/College Name, Roll Number)
  • Place of Schooling (Country, State, District)
  • Result Mode (marks obtained, percentage, etc.)

Step 3: Examination Centre Selection

 

Candidates need to choose two preferred CUET exam centers (states and cities) where they would like to appear for the exam. The order in which they select the centers is important.

 

Step 4: University and Programme Selection

 

Candidates can select one or more universities and programs from the dropdown menu. They need to click on the ‘Add’ button to add the desired university/program. Changes can be made by clicking the ‘Update’ tab.

 

Step 5: Test Paper/Domain Subject Selection

 

Candidates must select at least three subjects or papers, with a maximum of 10 subjects. Along with the subject selection, candidates must also choose the medium or language for the question paper. If selecting fewer than 10 subjects, they need to select the "NA: Not Applicable" option for the remaining subject fields.

 

Step 6: Upload Photograph and Signature

 

At this stage, candidates need to upload scanned copies of their photograph, signature, and category of PwBD certificate. The specifications for uploading the documents are:
