• The authorities will not send the candidates their obtained marks or VIT results through the post. Candidates will be able to access their obtained VIT 2026 ranks through SMS if they have submitted their correct contact details.
• Since the final VIT ranks are scrutinised with extreme care, there will be no provision for re-ranking and re-totalling. It is to be noted that the photocopies of the answer sheets will not be made available. No correspondence in this regard will be entertained.

• The statistical procedure of Equipercentile Equating would be used by VIT to identify the percentile ranks for candidates, such that scores on different forms with the same percentile rank are considered to be equivalent.

• A percentile Rank, say 90th Percentile, denotes that 90% of test-takers have scored below this score level and 10% above this test score.
